Wonderful kitchen tool!!!

I love this cheese grater for hard cheeses like Parmasan, Romano, etc. The cheese needs to be roughly cut to fit inside. Once inside the grater, a firm grip holding the handle and a thumb on the plunger makes this grater work Wundabar!! The two larger rotaries were easiest for me to use. I am so thankful I ordered this neat, useful grater!!

easy to use

Exactly what I wanted in life, easy to use, easy to clean, I pop these in the dishwasher after use and have never noticed any problems at all. I have noticed that sometimes the handle is too close to the device and if my hands were larger it would hurt to turn but luckily I have very small hands. Just something to note if you have larger hands that it may hurt to turn!

Sturdy construction

I like that this is all stainless steel, it feels like it will last a life time. So far I’ve only used the grater with the big holes, but I doubt I’ll have any issues when I do a harder cheese that needs the finer grater. This doesn’t have any bells and whistles like ergonomic handle grips or anything, which is good. IMO it’s those types of features that break and/or make tools harder to clean. If you are looking for a sturdy well made cheese grater this is it!

SIMPLY BRILLIANT

I purchased this item a week ago and used it only today to grate some cheddar and to slice some cooked ham for sandwich spread. I can tell you that this little grinder is the only choice you need for that. It is sturdy, lightweight, with 3 sharp cutting drums.. and most of all, very easy to dismantle, clean up and reassemble. For me the choice came down to METAL VS PLASTIC..a no-brainer everytime.

REALLY new and improved!!

This grater is familiar to me since I've had one for over 25 years. However, the original grater was not made of stainless steel and whatever the metal construction, it was flimsy and bent easily. This newer model is beautiful AND has a slicer, which is a bonus, and nice to use for slicing hard cheeses. Yes, it's a "gadget", but really handy to have for quick shredding and definitely easy cleanup. Treat yourself to this nifty grater!

Love this cheese grater!

I just received this and used it right away. Feels great and seems to be well constructed. Made shredding hard cheese a breeze and easier than hard plastic versions of this. Haven't used the slicer yet as I have a mandolin. Though if I want a bit of shreddd carrot, this will surely shred it quickly! Hopefully it lasts and stands up to dishwasher as it claims.

I like that it came with three different graters

I bought this to replace my pampered chef rotary cheese grater after their plastic handle broke. I like that it came with three different graters. Fine, medium shred and a slicer. It is much sturdier than it appeared in the photos. Shreds soft cheeses as well as hard cheeses easily. I have not tried the slicer blade yet and most likely will not as i really bought it to allow me to have freshly shredded cheese. No sawdust for me with store bought shredded cheeses...GROSS. Only thing I miss from my pampered chef grater is the small cup that I could attach to one side to catch the shredded cheese. Not a deal breaker. Glad I bought this and would recommend it to others.

Best I've ever owned!

This may be the nicest rotary grater I've ever seen. I've had a few plastic graters of varying quality over the years, and they always end up breaking so I wanted a nice metal set. This set has a couple of great features I've not seen on other graters. First, as noted in the promo photos, is the plastic gaskets on the grater drums. It's never really bothered me when whatever I'm grating or slicing squeezes out of the sides, but the gaskets make a big improvement to the feel of the grater in operation. Secondly, the hopper has a catch to keep it closed. It's not a huge inconvenience if the hopper isn't captured, but it's a small touch that shows the attention to detail that went into the manufacture of this particular example of the venerable rotary grater. Highly recommended.

It is with pleasure I write this review. I received this tool from the heavens today in the mail. Perhaps it was just dumb luck.... or perhaps divine intervention. I may never know. But my wife made the sauce for a nice tortellini dinner for the kids and I tonight before she went off to work. I just had to boil the tortellini and shred the block of fresh parmesan cheese for my kids. As I looked upon the counter at that square grater from hell that we fathers and husbands are all familiar with. I felt a knot in my stomach from the thought of having to use that contraption from hell. My fingers and knuckles already scarred and broken from years of its relentless abuse. Just as I was about to order pizza because lets be honest that square piece of crap sucks and id much rather hear my wife get mad at me then use it again. That was when i heard a knock on the door. It was the mail man. Or perhaps god in disguise. I became as giddy as a school boy about to lose his virginity. For there in the package he handed me was this Rotary Cheese Grater. I opened it as if it was christmas! Dinner and my beloved hands were saved! I happily threw that old square grater piece of crap on the floor and crushed it beneath the foot of justice.

This is my 2nd one

My daughter took mine, so I simply HAD to replace it. I use this to grate cheese, nuts, chocolate pieces and more. Holds up great, very well made. Love this product! (Here is my previous review: This is a GREAT product! I wanted a grater that wasn't plastic and this one is absolutely perfect. It grates cheese perfectly, and works great on vegetables too. I like the idea of 3 different size options. This is PERFECT, exactly what I wanted.)
