It's going to be awhile before I'm up and running with this since I'm still awaiting my transceiver and antenna, but the unit looks very attractive and solidly built. I plugged it in to test it and I love the backlit meter and the cooling fan that usually isn't found in a unit this price. Knowing what current you're drawing is a big plus. 30 amps is more than enough for a small ham shack with a mobile transceiver or two. I own a Tecsun PL-660 shortwave also sold under the Kaito name that I've been totally pleased with and I see no reason why this power supply shouldn't be equally as good. Looking forward to the rest of my equipment arriving!

Very good power supply for HF use. I power my Yaesu FT-891 and have had no issues with noise and it has more than enough power for 100 Watt SSB output.

This is the best switching power supply I've owned. I'm using it to power my HF radios. I have not found any interference on the hf bands so I can't comment about the noise off set adjustment working or not. The cooling fan is super quiet I can only hear it when I'm right next to the power supply or when I first turn on the supply. The meter is well lit and easy to read. It is a nice easy to transport size The only negative thing I have to say about it, is the manual is poorly written. It does not have any information about the max output current for the powerpole connectors. It also talks about adjusting the voltage which this model can not do.

I bought this power supply to power the Midland MXT-400 GMRS 2-way radio. It runs cool to the touch and has an internal fan that is not noticeable at all! Quality of construction is excellent! Their is nothing cheap about this power supply at all. The attractive lighted analog meter provides the needed volt/amp information. It has a heavy transformer inside even though it’s a switching power supply. As a retired Broadcast Engineer, I am very happy with this unit.

I've always used "linear" Astron power supplies for my Ham Radio station, but I'm putting together a "go box" case with a radio, power supply, antenna tuner, etc. so I can take my hobby to state parks, camping, or anyplace I want to set up and operate. A 30 pound power supply just won't do, so I shopped around and found this unit at almost half the price many others were charging for a 12v 30 amp supply. I like that it has Anderson Powerpoles on it as I use these extensively. Also, the unit has a switchable well illuminated volt/amp meter and a "noise shift" feature as all switching supplies can produce a "birdie" here and there across the radio spectrum... although so far I haven't bumped into any on the ham bands with this unit. I just love how small and lightweight it is and it looks great next to my Icom 7300 radio. Bottom line, this unit is a winner! I plan on replacing my big bulky Astron with another one of these to free up some space on my desk.

So far so good. I have a much larger and heavier power supply for my amateur radio setup that this TekPower replaced when my power switch broke. I particularly like the Anderson Power Poles on the front which are rated for the entire 30 amps of the unit. It also has screw-on in the rear. Since switching power supplies have inherent noise issues that can play havoc with HF spectrum signals on amateur radio’s, TekPower mitigate that issue with a potentiometer offset built in that can solve the noise problems. So far, knock on wood, I have zero issues with switching noise. I like the price, the quality and the size of this unit.

So far it's working great; I use it to power my Hitec X4-80 quad LiPo battery charger; the original Hitec 30A power supply failed after 1.5 years and couldn't be fixed. It's actually got more capability than the original Hitec PS, including current/voltage meter etc. for less $.

This power supply looks well built. I especially like the meter on front that reade output voltage or amps. Fan is quiet. I was concerned about the unit being noisy when I ordered it, but was very pleased with it. It's very quiet I'm using it to power a Yaesu FT-857D, there is a caution notice on the case saying "Hot, do not touch," but it seems to run fairly cool.

I just received this power supply a few days ago and it has worked flawlessly. It was deliver on time and set up was easy. I have used the power supply everyday with a mobile quad band ham radio and I have not had any problems with the power supply. It is very quiet while in use. Excellent product for the price.

Just what the doctor ordered to power up my Yaesu FT100. Meter test shows accurate reading on built in meter. Quiet and no RFI to my UHF transceiver. Would definately buy again
