Haven't got time for the strain

I was tired of setting my bowl shaped colander into the bottom of my sink only to have the hot pasta water pool up around the bottom of the bowl. It felt so wrong. So I wanted to find a colander that felt more sanitary. This one is perfect. It stretched out over my great big sink and the water goes through quick as lightning. It cleans easily, even if there are a few dried noodles left after the meal is over. It is sturdy and feels like it will last through many years of spaghetti dinners. It is also perfect for small items that need rinsing like lentils and rice.

Best strainer I've ever owned

I love this so much! I can't stand setting my strainer in the sink because I don't want any germs from the sink that might be lingering to mix in with my cooked food. This product is perfect to prevent that problem. It extends to fit a wider sink and the grippers work very well to keep it in place. I'm very pleased and highly recommend :-)

These colanders are great. I ordered 2 - one for myself with my new large 1 tub Ruvati sink, and another for a friend. He has a double sink, and thought it was too big, so I kept them both. I like buying large quantities of vegetables for smoothies, and this is a great way to clean them fast, rather than struggle washing a few pieces at a time.

i like it

it seems like this is made better then the cheaper ones at walmart and ikea. seems like the arms are beefier and the metal supports are made a lil better...not sure yet..time will tell....all my other ones where the bottom has broken off still work.. id buy this again. u.s kitchen prob made in china..lmao

Very Happy with Our Purchase

Purchased for my husband because he is the salad maker in the family. He uses this to process and wash our produce when we get home from the store. He is very happy with it. It fits on o e side of our double sink. The adjustment handles make it simple to fit over the garbage disposal. Very happy with our purchase.

This Is Not a Toy

Great product. The strainer is a) oblong which saves space. b) fits in almost any sink. c) reinforced on the bottom d) non-scratch handles e) adjustable again to fit most any area. f) DURABLE. G) Simply one of the best. I simply like this one. Did I mention that you can set this on the its "feet" too when needed to drain like a regular strainer, but so much larger.

Better than the colander it replaced!

The spot welds became detached on one side of a sink colander that I've had for at least 8 years. This one? Wow. Better than the 1st: heavier metal on the retractable, horizontal supports and mesh. Pleasantly surprised seeing as the first colander was purchased from a specialty kitchen store.

Wish I'd bought this sooner

This thing got a workout with all of my Thanksgiving prep. It held up great. I have a double sink, but it's a bit smaller than average (my kitchen is from the 70's). The sides pull out across my sink with room to spare- would still work great with a larger sink. Excited to replace my old, plastic circular colander with this and wish I'd switched sooner.
