• HOW DOES IT WORK? Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from the ovary. It signals the beginning of your fertile period. A positive result indicates the presence of a high amount of LH or LH surge. The amount of LH in your body will begin to decrease after ovulation, so you’ll only get a positive result during that crucial fertile period. Once the egg is released, it is only viable for about 24 hours. After that, your fertile window is over.
  • WHEN TO BEGIN TESTING? The length of the menstrual cycle is the duration from your first menstrual bleeding day to the day before the next bleeding begins. Determine the length of menstrual cycle before test. Please refer to the cycle chart to determine when you should start testing. If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin the test 11 days after your first period since the average cycle length is 28 days.
  • HOW TO READ THE RESULTS? LH Surge: If two color bands are visible, and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band, one will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. If trying to get pregnant, the best time to have intercourse is after 24 but before 48 hours. No LH Surge: Only one color band appears on the control region, or the test band appears but is lighter than the control band. This means there is no LH surge.
  • PREGMATE HCG PREGNANCY TESTS measure the levels of the pregnancy hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) in your urine. This hormone is produced by the cells of the embryo that will later form the placenta. The level of HCG starts to increase from its basal level of less than 5 mIU/mL directly after implantation, and doubles about each 48 hours during the first weeks of pregnancy.

Definitely recommend. I have PCOS and my cycle just recently regulated itself last August. I never thought I could get pregnant. My boyfriend and I decided to try for a baby so I decided to test for ovulation. As you can see, no problem detecting. Did the deed everyday my LH surge was high and on my peak day. I tested negative on the 25th (not shown) and the 26th. I felt it was too early and waited a few days. Lo and behold a faint line. I tested again that evening and it was still there. The test line was a tad darker on the 30th (not sure why it won’t show the HCG strip on that date.) I also bought a dollar test yesterday (4/30/2019) and it was faint but there and then today I tested again on the regular hcg strip and it’s a clear darker line. According to my Premom app I’m a week and 4 days and was able to see the faint line at 9dpo. Completely excited and just praying everything goes well with this baby. This is my first pregnancy and I’m really nervous about a miscarriage. I will update as pregnancy progresses.

Worked great! The "wing it" method was taking too long so I started tracking my cycle with these daily. Got pregnant the first month we started using these. Easy to understand directions, much more cost effective than most grocery store brands. I also used a digital one given to me by a friend and these were more accurate by far (proof being that we got pregnant immediately!) The HCG tests were also great, it was nice having a kit with both. Again, in this case, I used a pregmate HCG test as well as a name brand and also an off brand grocery store one and the pregmate was positive when the other two were negative. A doctor's visit officially confirmed pregnancy. I can't say enough good things about these.

I was worried these weren’t working to begin with because I kept getting negative Lh strips, but they were actually spot on. I just ovulated 4 days after my app told me I should. Download the Premom app and take pictures of your test strips. It’s fool proof. Following the strips showing I ovulated 4 days late, on the first day of my missed period I got a positive hcg test. Meaning we know exactly when this little nugget was conceived. These strips couldn’t have been more accurate. Well worth the 25 dollars.

These were awesome!!! I was able to find my LH Surge before a clear blue digital was able to but confirmed it with a follow up the next day by that brand! Other brands either couldn’t detect my Surge or made me think I had a Surge when I didn’t! My hubby and I were able to get pregnant the first month using these, but unfortunately, the pregnancy did not take, but we’re still trying and now know this is the only brand for us! Thanks Pregmate!

First and foremost, I would highly recommend this to women who have extremely irregular periods, such as myself. My husband and I were genuinely surprised we conceived our first baby (who is now 11 months old). I’ve been known to skip 2-3 months of my period, so I would randomly buy a pregnancy test just to be sure I wasn’t pregnant instead of just missing periods. Surprise, surprise, I was pregnant with baby number one (I had zero pregnancy systems and I was apparently already 5-6 weeks along). The fact that I have no clue how long my cycle length is and/or when I ovulate, she was a surprise! So, apparently I was ovulating, but not bleeding. Anyway, the husband and I recently decided to try for baby number 2. This was our first cycle trying and seeing as how I could not depend on an app to tell me when I was ovulating, I started researching ovulation testing and was blessed enough to find Pregmate. With SO MANY great reviews and at such a wonderful price, I thought why not? I started testing twice a day the very day I received my kit in the mail because I was yet again skipping 2 months of my period and I knew I wasn’t pregnant. I started testing March 13th (I only posted pictures of the last few days or so) and started to get nervous after 2 weeks of negatives. But then I got my positive! It was completely clear that it was a positive! No guessing or squinting. So, husband and I got busy that very day, and 2 days after. Seeing as how this just happened, I obviously can’t test to see if our efforts were successful. THIS PRODUCT WORKS! Highly recommend to any couple trying to conceive. One last tip: Be sure to follow the instructions and DO NOT look at the lines after 5 minutes has passed, because they do darken. Also, take pics of each test you do(in the same lighting/position)so you can have a record in your phone in case you need to look back. Sorry for the long review!

UPDATE: IMO Pregmate has the best/most sensitive pregnancy HCG strip tests out of all the internet ones you can buy. I added a couple pics for comparison. Pictures are of bfp's on the same day/same urine sample (past the 5 minute mark). The ones in blue are pregmate brand, the one in pink is clinical guard. I bought clinical guard also because of the number of amazon reviews, as well as to have a "backup". Pregmate brand needs more reviews because they are honestly number 1! You can clearly tell they detect pregnancy easier. If you're shopping around - skip the other brands. If you are actively TTC, I would recommend the larger kit so you can freely test and track ovulation, especially if you are new to pinpointing when you ovulate. It will give you peace of mind and increase your chances of conceiving by a lot! The ovulation strips work a little differently than the pregnancy strips so be sure to look up how to use them. It's actually really simple once you get the hang of it. The strips are accurate and it comes in a cute little box with instructions for both types of tests!

This product works. We got pregnant in our second month of using the ovulation tests, and the pregnancy tests picked up a positive (very faint) before the first response test. Would highly recommend these for the price.

Combined with a basal body thermometer, these ovulation test strips help me closely track my cycles to find out exactly when I ovulate. Without them, I would have no idea that my luteal phase is on the short side. Though my odds of conceiving are microscopically low, I feel like I at least am doing everything I possibly can by pinpointing when ovulation is likely happening. I've used them two cycles in a row and after getting a positive test result, the basal body thermometer confirmed with a rise in temperature beginning the next day. I haven't gotten far enough along to try out the included pregnancy test strips, but I can confirm the ovulation tests really do work.

I was looking for a less expensive option than the strips I had been using and decided to try these and another brand along side the more expensive brand for a few days for comparison. I liked these the best as they are sensitive enough where you can see at least a faint line most days and can get more of an idea of when ovulation is nearing as they begin to darken (vs one of the other brands that basically had no line at all until the day of the lh surge). It had a solid positive when I had my lh surge and I have had no issues with false positives. It seems like a solid option which I can trust. The strips are a bit wider than other brands I have used, which makes no difference to me, but some may enjoy that. The instruction kit is well written and I appreciate a company address in Florida vs China. The packaging is also a little more fun/cuter than most options which is just a nice little bonus.

Update: HCG - We got our BFP and these are by no means good for early detection as it almost took 15 dpo to get my BFP and I had tons of negatives before finally getting my positives. At one point I gave up testing for a few days and finally after almost a week into my missed period is when I finally got this BFP. These work if you are willing to wait, just don’t use for early detection. LH: I was very hesitant about this product initially. I tested for days upon days and it felt and never got a dark line. I thought the product was either awful or that something was wrong with me. Some days I tried to validate that the line was perhaps as dark as the control line and I was getting a little irritated/confused. Also, my Ava bracelet said that I ovulated yesterday and that today was no longer a fertile day. Good thing that I didn’t stop testing, because today I finally got two positive tests! When you finally see the dark line you will definitely know! There is no guessing and I’m now very pleased with the product.
