This swing is a life saver for me I got it when my daughter was about a month old because she never wanted me to put her down. She loved it right away now at two months she's starting to enjoy the mirror and the toys. Assembly was really easy. And it's easy to relocate to undo the middle bar and you can fold the legs together to move. I move it between the upstairs and downstairs. Now I will say I hear the motor like some of the other reviewers but it's nothing that will make me take a star away. With the music going you don't even notice it. It doesn't wake or bother her so I'm fine with it. Over I say it's worth the money. I normally don't do reviews but I spent hours and days researching swings so I thought I would give my opinion in case it can save someone else time. The fabric is amazingly soft also.

For $99, it makes for a pretty inexpensive babysitter! When my arms need a break from carrying my newborn baby, this is my go-to. That said, here are the pros and cons that I've found after about a month of use. Pros: - Swings front to back and side to side. Apparently my baby only likes swinging front to back so I'm glad I bought one that allows for both. - Plugs into wall or runs on batteries (but trust me, you won't want to be changing batteries -- mine stays plugged in all the time) - Can play music (daytime or nighttime lullabys) or white noise (crickets/owls) and the mobile can also spin - Baby seems to like watching the mobile and the mirror in the center - Holds baby at about a 30 degree angle, not quite enough for a baby with reflux, but better than flat on her back - Swing has multiple speeds and runs relatively quietly (as other reviewers stated, it does make noise, but it is white noise. I personally like being able to hear it, and I think the white noise calms the baby) - Really cute design -- the puppy seat is made of a soft, minky fabric and for a baby item, it's pretty neutral color (gray/white and some muted pastel) Cons: - It's big and takes up a lot of floor space. This is not something that you'll move from room to room or travel with. I still needed a small rocker that I could take from room to room. - I wish the angle of the swing was adjustable. My baby has reflux and a 45 degree angle tends to keep her from spitting up. Since this is maybe 30 degrees, so I can't set her in her swing right after she eats. - To swing front to back, you have to swivel the seat to the right (baby's head is on the left and feet on the right), so this may dictate where you put the swing so the baby can face you versus facing a corner or a wall. You can't swivel the seat to the left. - The music/white noise is on a timer so I have to get up to turn it back on when it times out - Assembly was a bit of a pain; I recommend having two people since you'll need a third hand to hold parts in place while you put the bolts in, but it only took about 30 minutes - My baby doesn't really fall asleep in this, so it's not the miracle soother I hoped it would be but it does calm and entertain her when my hands are full I've been using this daily with no issues, It seems sturdy and well-built. Hopefully it lasts us a long time!

My newborn baby seems to love her swing - we have been using it for the last month with no issues. The cloth cover for the swing is soft and was easy to machine wash when my baby had a leaky poopy diaper. I like that we are able to rotate the swing so that it can swing either side to side or front to back. She's also started looking at the mobile and seems intrigued by the little animals. I wish it was a little lighter / easier to move around but it definitely seems safe and sturdy. So far no issues with the swing!

This swing worked well for me! My son loved it, and napped in it everyday. I work from home so it was essential to getting him to nap! When he was younger he would nap in the swing for 2-3 hours. Then around 4 months sleep regression started, and he would not nap at all unless In the swing. So it was a lifesaver for me. The assembly was a little bit tricky but doable. The puppy cover I washed a few times and let air dry. The music plays for 15 minutes but I wish it would play for longer. I like that you can adjust the volume by several notches, not just “low, medium, high”. I use it at a louder setting during the day and Sturdy, never felt uncomfortable putting baby in it. As he got heavier sometimes it would squeak, so really spread the legs out to get the swing as sturdy so it won’t squeak. The swing motor worked fine for me, I read for others it would die out and stop swinging. I had no problems. He used it up to around 6 months in which I started using it less because I didn’t want him to depend on being rocked. He is now 8 months and will nap and sleep in his own crib completely after a bit of patience and controlled crying. I am now passing on to a friend who will be giving birth soon.

Should have listened when everyone said get a swing. We got a Mammaroo instead and he HATES IT! This thing is gold! We have a possibly Colic 3 month old who cries and cries when we put him down. We broke down and ordered this last week. It came Friday and he’s been a heavenly baby ever since. He’s taken two two hour naps each day in this thing!! He’s been in such a pleasant mood I think because he’s been napping! Also last night he was in here for 4 hours then I fed him and transferred him to bed without him waking up!! Also we’re snobs and and love that it’s sleek looking! Its super soft and snuggly and BONUS the mobile moves!!!!

This swing is great and really is the only thing that my babies wanted to sleep in the first few months. We tried the more expensive mamaroo and the motion just didn't soothe them in the same way or make them feel as snuggled. Two of our kids used this as their full time bed during sleep regressions so I can truly say we wouldn't have survived without it! The only con to this is that it's quite large and not easy to move around. You really have to have the space for it so toting it around from room to room isn't super feasible.

I am one of those people who believe that the more expensive the product, the better it works. In addition, I hate writing reviews but this.....when our baby now 3 months was born, I looked for a bouncer with all the bells and whistles and found the Mamaroo 4. After trying it for 2 months and half it ended up becoming a decorative piece in the house. We decided to return it and give this a try and boy does it work. Out of the box it looks very cheap ( compared to mamaroo). After putting it together, we waited until the next morning before trying this. I put the little one down for a quick 10 minute shower and came back to a soundly sleeping baby. Everytime we put him down in it, it takes less than 15 min for him to pass out. The swing has a big footprint but the benefits outweight that.

We have many bassinets and a crib, and the only thing our newborn will sleep in is this crib, he doesn’t like to be flat. the head portion of the swing is slight elevated, which is what our son loves in order to sleep. The sides are also curved so this can replace any sleeping wedges, and since he is on his back, he can turn his head to both sides without anything near his face. We fold the dog ears behind the head to keep the face area more clear, keep our son in a halo swaddle, and keep the swing on the lower of the 2 tilt options. Our pediatrician is more than fine with us using this for him to sleep in, provided the things I’m describing above and below. Always always always watch to make sure things aren’t covering his mouth or face, unbutton or unzip slightly near his neck and fold materials so there’s a free V space by his neck. There’s a timer for the music, but not the actual swing, which doesn’t make sense...but you can buy outlet timers and plug the swing into it as an alternative. Once the baby is 4 months or more, then they recommend to raise it one small level up if desired. We actually bought another of this swing, one for both floors. The swing motions are great, many different speeds and it’s low enough noise to sleep with. Our son honestly sleeps in this without any rocking, it’s more about she shape of the body space and elevation that he likes. We highly recommend it.

This swing is a life-saver! My baby boy does not like to lie still, and he refuses to lie flat (unless he is beside me). When I put him down for a nap in his swing, I am usually able to take a shower or catch up on some household chores while he sleeps, rather than have to hold him and get nothing accomplished. I love that I'm not burning through batteries when it runs for an hour or two at a time for good naps. The music is pleasant, and it's great to be able to adjust the volume. My lil guy really enjoys the rotating mobile and the mirror above him. The 5-point harness seems to be very secure and I don't worry about my baby falling out (He's only 8 weeks old, so it's not like he's climbing out just yet). I'd assume it would hold him securely once he gets a bit more mobile, as well. The variable speed and multiple positions for the swing itself are wonderful! I don't have to move the whole unit when the sun shines in, I can just rotate the swing and we're good to go. Note: Some have complained about the squeak when the swing is going. This is user related. The feet have to be fully extended at all times, or you will get a squeak. They must be spread apart periodically, as there is subtle movement when the swing runs. If you're hearing a squeak, just spread the feet (the entire base of the swing support) apart and the squeak will disappear. Note: You must have 4 C batteries installed to complete the circuit or it will not run at all, even if you have it plugged into the wall. Oh, and you'll need a phillips screwdriver for assembly. Overall, this is an excellent product and I'd highly recommend it to friends and family.
