This worked perfectly everywhere in ICELAND - REYKJAVIK, GOLDEN CIRCLE, ETC., Also, kudos to Ceptics for providing a 3-pack as it was easy for me, my wife, and my wife's family member to use their electronics (iphones) to charge simultaneously. Just use the normal white adapter to USB for USA wall charging but plug into this - in case you are not aware, the normal USA wall adapter apple provides with all USA iphones has 110-220v and 50-60k conversion internally, so you just need this Schuko to make the plug FIT IN THE WALL. No voltage issues if used for charging in the way I described. Thanks, cheers!

Arrived in plenty of time for our trip. Functioned for myself and two children in Germany France Italy and Romania without any troubles. Works in Tunisia too! One piece of advice, if you have a nintendo 3ds, you will need a euro charger for about 10 Euro. The US charger will not work plugged into an adapter. This is a failure of the nintendo design, not Ceptics. Thanks Ceptics for flawless performance. Will use everytime I go across.

I recently purchased these for a trip to Portugal, Spain and Morocco. While there are some regional differences with ground plugs, these worked perfectly with both types of outlets in these countries. I was able to plug my autoconverting chargers (chargers that run on both 120/240 volts) with no issues and I was able to keep my devices fully charged and ready to run. These DO NOT convert voltage, so your 120 volt items will be overvolted and burn out. My wife had a hair dryer she plugged into the adapter without changing the operating voltage and quickly saw her mistake, so her hair dryer didn't burn up, but it got really hot, really fast!

I am studying abroad in France and this is my first time in a foreign country - I knew I'd need adapters, and these were my first choice. They have worked perfectly - I even gave one to a friend here who is also studying abroad, because she had a cheaper, older adapter that blew out her first day! These adapters work in both grounded and ungrounded French outlets. I've used them for laptop cables, cell phone chargers, and even chargers with other adapters - I have had no problems keeping my electronics running. Thank you folks for making a quality product - I have been recommending you to some friends who plan to visit me in a few months! Merci bien, et bon voyage!

Good Price, plugs worked well during our trip to former Soviet countries in Eastern Europe. This is the primary adapter for Eastern Europe although we did run into some locations that had both this socket, and others with the French socket. These do not change voltage, but many electronic devices will accept 240v, 50hz current. Check each device before you plug in without a transformer. Also liked that there were two outlets per adapter.

I purchase a lot of items in the US and bring them back with me to Europe. As long as the item or it's wall wart or power brick is designed for both 110V/220V AC input then it's no problem. Most electrical items are made to handle both currents one way or another so the manufacturers don't need to make separate units of the same product. This is especially so with smaller and mobile devices as people travel. I've purchased a number of these kinds of adapters over the years and this is the best one yet. Here in Europe most countries use the Schuko plug or EU plug where the receptacle is recessed to receive the plug. The Schuko standard provides for a secure, snug fit with good grounding. I wish this was the global standard. Anyway, these adapters fit nicely in the recessed Schuko wall receptacles and have as you can see have slots for both the two-pronged and three-pronged US plugs. The US plugs connect well and don't wiggle, not even the two-pronged plug. These adapters are the best yet. Get these if your bringing your device to Europe. Make sure that your device or wall wart can handle 220V!

The best adapter plugs I have ever used for international travel. I used the adapter for a three week trip through Scandinavia. The adapter fit snugly in all outlets where I used it . The fact that the adapter provides outlets to accommodate two devices is a real plus as the availability of outlets in many hotels is limited. Just a reminder this adapter does not change the voltage. It may only be used with electrical devices that are 240 volt compatible.

I bought it for my Russia River cruise and the adapter fitted exactly into the outlet. Two main advantages: 1. Each adapter has two plug in areas thus can accommodate two devices. This helps if your hotel or cruise ship only provided one outlet for you to plug the adapter. Of course, you can overcome this problem if you bring an extension cord with multiple input areas. 2. On the cruise ship I was on, it has two outlets where the adapter can plug into. However, these outlets were one above the other (very close) and one of them was used to plug in the refrigerator. A friend of ours had a different adapter which was much larger physically and was not able to plug it into the other outlet because of the physical constraint imposed due to the refrigerator's plug-in. This adapter I bought fitted perfectly because of its minimal dimension.

Pros. Worked beautifully in France, perfect fit into 1970s era receptacles; grounded 3-plug design fits all. Did not get hot (reassuring) Cons. None Bottom line. Great value, well made, no regrets. Travel tip. This is a converter, not a transformer. By converter, this will make your U.S. two or three pronged plug fit into a French electrical receptacle. French voltage is 230 V which means your connected device must be able to handle at least 240 V. Nowadays, nearly all branded consumer electronics are designed to handle US, UK, European and Asian voltages. Look closely on the bottom of your device: if you see an operating range of 100-240V, then you can plug in your device using a simple converter for your region. A word of caution for high draw devices like curling irons, blow driers, hand-held clothing steamers, or small space heaters; the manuals are not always clear on operating voltages and the amperage can be an issue where wiring is old (think Europe). You made need a transformer for some high draw devices, older consumer products like hand-held electric razors, or off-brand consumer electronics with limited voltage capacity (e.g., products made exclusively for the U.S. where the voltage is capped at 110V).

Perfect on my trip to Poland. Especially nice in hotel rooms where plugs are scarce. It was nice to have two plugs in one for those situations. All hotels required the three pin adaptors so these were perfect except on the occasion where there was a plug for shavers only. Of course these don’t convert voltage, so make sure your items are good for dual voltage. Electronics like iPhone or Kindle were just fine. I found an inexpensive hair straightener that was dual voltage, so only required the adaptor plug. These are great quality for the price.
