Excellent, plump, fresh dates for a very reasonable price!

Truly fabulous dates! These are the best we have found online for a very long time, since the first time we ordered organic Medjool dates from OhNuts (not available for many, many months now). Those were excellent, and these are just as good! Several orders in between from other sellers not so good--white, filmy coating, plasticy tasting, dry, or just second-rate dates for the price. I took a chance with Terrasoul, as these had no reviews yet, but they had a 30-day money-back guarantee and a nice description, not to mention a very good price. Wasn't sure what to expect, but got a nice surprise when they arrived. What scrumptious dates! Nice and plump, huge, very fresh dates, no icky bag taste. We will be buying regularly. Better than chocolate

These dates are my go-to snack/energy treat and I like them better than chocolate! Incredibly sweet, plump and rich. Two or three of these and a handful of nuts keep me satisfied for hours. They are not pitted, however, so be careful of that. I have them delivered regularly with Subscribe and Save.

I've been ordering Medjool dates from TerraSoul for the past few years, and have had all but one delicious experience. One of two bags I ordered a few months back had been sitting in the pantry, waiting for the first bag to be finished. A couple of weeks ago, I went to open it, and the sealed bag was ballooned with pressure. Upon "popping" it open, I immediately smelled a fermenting date aroma, and noticed crystallization surrounding some of the dates at the top. I sent an email to TerraSoul, requesting some assistance on how to swap out the bag. I didn't hear back after one week, and was about to contact them again, when a box with brand new Medjool dates, as well as some samples and a discount card arrived yesterday. Wow. Action taken! I'm so excited! Thank you!

I love these dates

What can I say? Medjools are the yummiest date and fruit that I have ever eaten in all my life. What does it taste like? It reminds me of vanilla ice cream with clover honey on it which is my favorite way to eat ice cream. What else does it taste like? It has a luscious creamy natural caramel flavor and texture without the tack. I love them and enjoy the flavor and texture so much that I have to force myself to only eat 3 or 4 a day. The two-pound bag is going fast. Don't forget these dates have NOT been over handled by going through a pit remover on an assembly line. They are all natural, no preservatives, and they do contain the pit. The pit is slender and near the middle of the date. Be careful not to put the whole date in your mouth and end of breaking a tooth. They are tremendously delicious and make a great snack and dessert. I highly recommend this brand, too.

Delicious dates, great for late pregnancy and beyond

I originally purchased these in the hopes they would help prepare me for child birth. I had an extremely fast labor and delivery and I do think eating these every day, starting when I was 38 weeks, helped (you can Google for studies down regarding eating dates during pregnancy). I enjoyed them so much I ordered a second bag after my baby was born and now enjoy them occasionally when I am craving something sweet. They taste great by themselves and I also enjoy them cut up and out into oatmeal with almond butter, flax and cinnamon.

Divine Dates!

These dates are heavenly! Right after I received them I made the mistake of "sampling" a few too many of them. Some of the "healthful" aspects of these delightful dates were predictably manifested by the next morning, if you catch my drift. So now I hide them from myself deep within my refrigerator. Out of sight, out of mind - is the only way I can resist them.

Very delicious

After reading several of the reviews, I was afraid to see what was inside the bag when I received it. Thankfully (luckily?) they were fresh with no signs of anything else in the bag but dates. After biting into one and spitting out the pit, it was very delicious and sweet, just like the ones I get at the local co-op. I hope my luck continues as I will most likely be buying more when this bag has been eaten!

Really good quality received

I ordered the 2lb Deglet Noor Dates, so I cant speak on the other variety of dates. I was very wary after seeing some other reviews but these dates are very plump, moist, and sticky. I have also been cutting each one in half before consuming to check for anything strange, and nothing but a space where the pit used to be. It really makes eating 6 a day (for pregnancy) a lot easier and cost effective. Currently using them in cereals/oatmeal’s/and banana chai smoothies. Thinking about trying on making peanut butter date cookies next

Very pleased with the quality of these dates. It's always a crapshoot when ordering dates online and I'm so glad to have found a reliable source. I was a little nervous about the negative reviews and pictures at first. But overall, the amount of positive reviews speak for themselves. I'm glad I took a chance! It's always possible to have some issues arrive with organic fruits like this and with Amazon, we can always request a return if quality is lacking and we want our money back. IMHO, you can't lose! Go for it! :)

A tasty treat

The dates are great. I was impressed at how big they are since I had been getting the other variety at the local grocery store. I was surprised that they have puts (though I have since found that that is normal for majool dates) but the pits are small and easy to eat around/remove. I am using them as part of a natural preparation for childbirth. Since I don't eat much in the way of sugar containing foods they are a sweet treat and my version of candy.
