Sun Joe is Great!
I'm totally jazzed. I just finished using Sun Joe for the first time! Wow!! Just so you can picture me, I'm 68 years old and tottle around. I need to keep the front yard shrubs cut back, and I'm not into roasting in the summer. I grabbed ole' Sun Joe this morning, and those shrubs were literally done in minutes. Everything. Done. The Sun Joe is light weight and very easy to use. I had already read all the instructions, which are clearly written, and the Sun Joe charged up very quickly before use. Honestly, so many items disappoint us today. Sun Joe, truthfully, exceeded my expectations! Way to go, Sun Joe!!

SO Happy I Bought the Sun Joe!!!
While there will always be negative reviews of every product, I held onto the positive reviews when I purchased the Sun Joe 7.2V Battery Operated 2 in 1 Hedge/Grass Clipper and am not disappointed! In fact, I am elated!! As a senior citizen and recently widowed, having yard tools I can manage and that WORK is so important and makes it possible to keep the yard looking its best. I have a relatively long row of boxwood hedges that were in desperate need of a Spring haircut. In the past I’ve struggled with heavy clippers powered only by my arm muscles and had difficulty maintaining the shape and it was SO tiring! First time out with my new Sun Joe Hedge clippers was amazing! The Sun Joe helped me buzz through my entire row of boxwoods and it was easy to maintain the shape and evenness I like. Then I attacked a huge vine that grows on one side of the house – I wanted to trim everything! To conclude, I was completely satisfied with the performance of the Sun Joe, as well as the battery life…it was still going when I was ready to quit. Thank you Sun Joe!!!

Trim or Clip
Wonderfully powerfull and long running compared to my old 3.6 V unit. Does exactly what I wanted it to do on some azalea bushes in my front yard and some grass clipping around some sprinkler heads.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!
WOW!!! This is the fourth grass clipper I've had - all different brands. This is BY FAR the best! The blades cut well, it's easy to turn on and off (you don't need to be a contortionist or use two hands), fits nicely in my hand, and the battery lasts far longer than any other cutter I've had. I can't tell you how pleased I am! Highly recommend this. Haven't tried the trimmer yet, but can't imagine it not being just as great! SO glad I bought this.

This trimmer makes the job so easy
This works as advertised and it makes the trimming job for smaller bushes very easy fast and effective. The battery lasts a long enough time to trim all the bushes at my house with power to spare. This Trimmer made my job very easy with no power cord to wrestle with. Changing the blades is very easy to do. This little Trimmer did everything I expected it to do. I do recommend this trimmer you will not regret purchasing it

and especially price it did a great job.
I don't write many reviews but I have to say this thing was a pleasant surprise. I bought it simply for the grass clipper which worked well. I decided to try the hedge trimmer just to see how it would do and it had no problem trimming a couple of small bushes. For its size, weight, and especially price it did a great job.

Handiest, dandiest little tool ever . . .
I bought this Sun Joe for the hedge trimmer because I am a senior with back problems and larger trimmers are too heavy for me to use easily, and hand pruners, while easy to use, take FOREVER if you have more than two shrubs. It’s as great as I hoped it would be: lightweight, powerful enough to cut stray branches in one swoop, and even fun to use. But it gets BETTER! The grass clipper blade, which I thought would waste away in the box, has turned out to be even MORE useful than the hedge trimmer. My home came with lots of small, ball-shaped shrubs which grow unevenly and produce dead branches in odd places. Because of their ball shape the mower can’t reach the grass that grows underneath them and the weed whacker is heavy and difficult for me to manipulate. But I can take the grass trimmer, sit on a little stool and shear off the oddly shaped and dead branches, THEN use it UNDER the shrub to cut all the long grass my other tools can’t reach. And all while sitting down! And if you thought that was great, what until you hear THIS! I mulch my beds but I’ve yet to find a mulch (and I don’t care how many inches you use or what you put underneath, grass ALWAYS pops up somewhere. I had the crazy idea to slip the grass clippers UNDER my pine bark nuggets to cut the grass growing in them and by God, it WORKED. I just replaced the few nuggets that jumped out, until I figured out that slipping the clippers under the nuggets at an upward ANGLE cuts the stray grass AND keeps the nuggets in the bed (always assuming they were there in the first place). I don’t understand the comments about the clippers “just pushing the grass down”. They clip my grass quickly and easily. And they are so much fun to use. It’s like having a new toy - I just can’t stop playing with them. I’ve clipped everything clippable in my yard and I’m ready to help out the neighbors! In fact, my next door neighbor, who saw me using it and asked to try it out, liked it so much she is going to get one of her own (and she even has a lawn service, which tells you right there how much fun this tool is)! One caveat: I had a heck of a time switching from the trimmer blade to the grass clippers. I just couldn’t get the cover back on. But the pluses are so many I didn’t want to knock off a star just for that.

If my 90 year old hand can handle this trimmer with ease, yours can too !
I did not buy it to look at but---I love the color ! I have used the grass trimmer to trim around stepping stones on a slope and it works very well. I have used the hedge trimmer to trim a ground cover of trumpet vines and it works very well !

Once you get the hang of it changing blades is not that bad but I found the grass cutting blades perfect for ...
I waited a week before writing this review. After (20) box woods (10) Holly Bushes (1) Lilac bush including cutting of spent flowers and a Welcome to our town sign that had dozens of tulips that had to be cut back after blooming - this machine warrants a 10 rating. You cannot beat it for the price. Came delivered and charged so I could try it out and immediately was impressed. Once you get the hang of it changing blades is not that bad but I found the grass cutting blades perfect for my tasks. Easy one hand use that is precise. No more chords or two handed required cutters for me. I suggest that the manufacture offer a screw in handle so that grass cutting can be done while upright

I love it for edging and trimming
I love it for edging and trimming. It has a good deal of power and runs for over an hour on a charge. It is light weight and easy for an old lady to use. I am afraid of big power edging tools, but since I do my own lawn, this serves the purpose. I really did not need the hedger, but have used it on my plants that need to be cut down during the summer.
