- OptiWand inserts and removes soft contact lenses but takes practice and patience. Scroll down for instructional videos. Use only as directed.
- This is not a suction cup for soft contact lens removal. It will help to pinch the soft lens. Soft lenses cannot be suctioned out due to their composition.
- Insertion process must be completed quickly to avoid lens sticking to the wand.
- The OptiWand is designed to hold the lens until placed on cornea during insertion. Look at center hole colored wand or contact lens to align the lens properly. When the lens touches the eye, twist the wand slightly to release the lens from wand.
- The OptiWand functions much different than fingers and the same mistakes are made by nearly all users. It is not a suction cup for soft lens removal.

Awesome tool !!!!!
This little gadget is awesome. I'm 49 and new to contacts. It would take me 20 min. To get them in and out and my eyes were so sore. I was about to give up on them and then I bought this. It is so easy. Even from the first time I tried it. Now they are in and out in a minute.

Quick- easy insertion and removal of lenses
I’m a new user to contacts. I’m like most amateurs, digging into my eye just didn’t sit too well with me. Also, I keep my nails long in length. I bought this with my fingers crossed hoping it would help me with ease of inserting and removal of my lenses. The very day my package arrived, I decided to follow the directions and gave it a go. I gave 5 stars because not only did it work, it took me less than two full minutes to insert and remove the lenses seamlessly. Before this product, I would have been in the mirror with watery and irritated eyes for 10-15 minuets.

Great if you use it correctly
Need to understand water/fluid is what makes the contact lens stick to a surface. So when you put it in make sure the interface between the tool and the bottom of the contact lens is dry and if needed, put a drop iof eye wetting solution (eg opti-free puremoist) on the inside of the lens that is to contact the eye. Similarly, to take the lens out, make sure the tool is wet (water is OK) to make it stick better to the tool but also follow the instructions (pinch & turn). If you do the sbove it will work great!

THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR ME
I wanted desperately to switch from glasses to contacts. Got the contacts, which took the technician in the eye office about 20 tries PER EYE to get in! (My eyes are small and my blink-reflex is ridiculous.) I took them home, very optimistic and determined, and tried about 20 times over the next month, totaling at least ten hours of effort, and never once was successful. I must have watched every youtube video out there showing different tips & tricks. I gave up for an entire year, resigned myself to glasses, then saw this product, which I bought along with gel eye drops that one tip had recommended. The first time took about 20 minutes to get the contacts in, but they were in! Over the next several days, that time decreased and now I pop them right in on the first try. I never use the wand for removing the contacts because that was never my problem...insertion was. But this awesome little thing solved the issue and I love wearing contacts now!

Basically for those people who can't touch their eyes directly ...
Basically for those people who can't touch their eyes directly with their fingers firmly enough, of which I am one. But you REALLY have to press it hard on your contact (while looking through the alignment hole), before you squeeze the sides to grip the contact (which is how it works).

Saved me from giving up on soft contacts
I almost gave up on wearing oft contacts because I could never get them out of my eye. With the optiwand it comes out in the first try. I don’t use it to put the contacts in but it has been a game changer for me in getting the contacts out!

Awesome!
I decided to order color contacts for cosmetic use only. Got one in after quite a struggle & wasn't able to get the other one in after days of failed attempts. Saw this device on You Tube & figured I'd try it before giving up altogether. I got the contact in after only 3 tries with this nifty device! Very happy with this purchase!

As a new wearer of contacts, the optiwand made it so much easier to put in my contact!
Even though I'm in my fifties I am new to contacts. This product really help put in and take out my contacts. I tried for hours to put my contacts in using the tip of my finger but found it to be very difficult. I was really getting frustrated. The little hole in the middle of this devices allowed me to focus on it while putting in my contacts, meaning my eye ball is positioned in the right place. It really works for ME!
