Love my new bongos! They look beautiful, they sound beautiful - looking forward to making them a part of the band! And really affordable - I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get any but surprise! These are great :)

Looks and sounds great!

I just received these today and have been playing on them for the last hour and a half. I love em! They sound great and are well crafted so they look nice too. Very pleased with my purchase!

Great bongo's!

These were a gift for my husband who has no musical training or talent at all and he's having a blast with them! We don't know anything about drums but these seem very well made, especially for the reasonable price so don't hesitate ordering these.

I Chose Wisely

I purchased these as a gift for my 16 year old niece. She already plays the electric bass, violin & ukelale. We saw her grab a set of bongos during a concert and knew she needed her own. She was blown away when she opened her gift and spent the rest of the day playing. My husband, who plays the electric guitar, said I "chose wisely'! Beautiful construction, loved the wood selection, great sound - couldn't ask for better .... so I guess I going with Pyle's reputation was a wise choice.

These bongos are every bit as good as the higher priced, expensive models. We are enjoying them, and will for many years to come!!

Ver Good For The Price

The sound is about as good as you'll get from a cheap pair of small drums. The construction of the drums is respectable. The hardware is nothing special, but for the price it's okay.

Very respectable bongos. I'm buying more, for myself, my wife, and as gifts. Seriously. A quality purchase. I'm not a professional drummer or musician. Look to other reviewers for comments on that. These bongos simply strike me as extremely well made, and have proven lots of good fun. --Not so seriously: my wife can't keep a beat. I may have to kill her soon: she loves to, dare I say, bang on di drums all day! ... at least at parties. Oh, and I love my wife. Don't buy these for your wife if you hate her, or if she hates you. She'll drive you up the wall.

quality item

My musical grandson loved these drums! Well made and attractive, they took me back to my bongo days in the late 50's . My son has cheerfully offered to kill me and my grandson will not put them down. Success!

Great bongos!

Just received them, got them tuned up and they sound great! Started making noise on them and got just what I hoped for. It's hard when you buy something like this online and don't get a chance to hear them first but was not disappointed this time. They're solid and well built, tuning them was simple and a great buy for the price.
