The perfect desk for me...

I just now finally put this together, but it wasn't cause it was hard to put together, it was my own procrastination with cleaning and moving my room around so I can use the desk correctly for me. And now that I finally did it, I hate myself for taking so long. It looks so good in my room with my computer and drawings on it. I couldn't have picked a better desk, it's got so much room on the surface, and the four shelves can fit soooo much on them, it really is perfect. I highly recommend this desk, for sure...

After weeks of searching for a roomy yet compact desk, I'm so glad I went with my gut and the reviews here!

First, though it estimated that I would get the desk a week after I ordered it, I got it 2 days after I ordered so def really in love with the shipping speed! The box showed some damage but the desk pieces were so well protected that not a scratch or dent was found. I had this bulky huge computer desk and I wanted to downsize. I needed something roomy yet compact for my bedroom. I didn't want a drawer or keyboard thing because I like to sit at my desk criss-cross without bumping my knees. I am a devoted bookworm so the added book-shelf was what had me pick this one. Plus the price was perfect! I was worried that I was going to get cheap material but felt comforted from reading the other reviews with 4-5 star ratings and decided to give this desk a try. It was super easy to put together. At first I was worried because I couldn't understand the instruction but once I realized what all the number and letters were for (and super grateful that all the different screws were separated and labeled), it was a breeze. The only time I really struggled was screwing the nails for the shelves. Those were a nightmare but I managed and the end results were so worth it. After weeks of scrolling through amazon and trying to pick a desk that was decently priced but wouldn't fall apart on me, had to fit in a small bedroom that already had a full bed and 6 bookshelves, this desk is a keeper! It matches my furniture and offers so much space for me to write and study. Thank God I no longer have to stress on looking for a desk. *** I've added a few pix to show you how it looks, especially if you are tight on space like me and never thought a desk at the foot of the bed would work. Was worried that my desk chair wouldn't fit but it does! (Don't mind the clutter or my dog who insisted on being in one of the frames).

Awesome desk, easy to build, very sturdy

I want to address the reviews saying that the directions are difficult. I dont agree. Everything in the box is labeled clearly and if you take a moment and breathe, the illustrations are very detailed. I just built this as a 5'3 femle by myself in an hour. I had to grab my own tools because the included tools were kind of cheesy...but I dont buy it for tools, I never thought a real screwdriver would be in the box, so cute...I bought a desk. This one exceeds my expectations. It is very sturdy and nice looking too! I am excited to have it!

Very Nice Desk

Desk is just as describe and packaged well. Every piece needed to assemble the desk was there and went together quickly and with no problems. Included also was a small wrench and screwdriver so you had all the tools you needed to assemble. It is a very study desk at a great price point. I am using for my craft desk and it is just what I was looking for to craft and keep my frequently used supplies near by and stored. Read the description and the dimensions are accurate and shelves can be put on either side. You won't be disappointed

Great desk!

I was initially hesitant to buy this because it didn't look like a traditional desk, but I eventually did and don't regret it. This a great computer desk. The wood is shimmery and doesn't look cheap. There is plenty of desktop space to put a monitor, my laptop, and other knickknacks on it. The desk is also really solid and stable, which surprised me for something that I put together myself since I don't consider myself handy by any means. I also really like the shelves, which you can put books and other items on it. I bought this desk for the purpose of working from home, but it is also great for using it every day leisurely. The only downside is that the desk was a little hard to assemble at first because the instructions only had numbers and pictures. But once I figured it out, it wasn't that bad. I would say it was much easier to put together than a traditional desk. It's a great desk overall if you want one that is spacious and modern.

Sturdy, Easy to build, Everything you need included!

Love it! It's very sturdy, perfect sizing, and so nice. The directions were so simple, and everything was labeled VERY clearly. It came with EVERYTHING I needed to set it up, which was so helpful. I took about 45 min to build, and I did it myself with absolutely no problems, no frustrations, and no confusion. The way the shelves are built is slightly awkward to put things on. Other than that though, extremely sturdy and will definitely last a long time. A nice size too! My 25" monitor and my laptop fit nicely, without feeling crowded. It still fits well in my small one-bedroom though!

Great sturdy desk!

So I ordered it on Tuesday and got it Thursday! Very happy with the shipping. It took me about an hour to build by myself. Pretty easy. Do yourself a favor and use a screw driver with a thicker grip. It will make the whole process easier. The desk is sturdy and wide. Just what I needed. The shelves are nice. I have my PS4 and Xbox one on them. Its the perfect desk for small space. Would highly recommend

Hands down, best desk I have ever, EVER had!

This desk, especially for the price (currently just paid $88), is absolutely incredible. It's more solid than any desk I've had, yet DECEPTIVELY lightweight. As you can see, I actually used two of them to make one long desk, and it looks pretty impressive if you ask me! It worked perfectly because the edges come together flawlessly (and more importantly: EVENLY), and I can even set objects right in the middle where they join without them wobbling over an uneven surface (and I'm even on carpet!!) The surface of the desk is very smooth and coated with some kind of plastic or resin. I'm not sure how easily the surface can be scuffed (because I've only had it for a day), but I'm protecting it with two large clear desk mat protectors anyway. I have 3 cats that like to perch and occasionally ricochet off of things, and trust me when I say: nothing about this desk is wobbly in the slightest, including the shelves. Oh, and the bottom of the desk has screw-on feet, which means they can be adjusted individually (again, preventing wobble!) The edges are magnetic too, which is awesome because I can use magnetic hooks. Be aware that what you see under the desk in the middle is my own addition: I made my own cable management rig underneath the table using some steel storage cubes and plastic zip ties. Works perfectly to conceal/organize the cables. My two desks arrived without any damages, luckily. Assembly was average (which means it wasn't a nightmare or anything)... no words, just picture instructions, took about an hour, all tools/pieces included. Except: I wouldn't recommend using the included mini screw driver, because there's a lot of screwing involved and I had a blister on my palm by the end of it. Was too lazy to grab my real screw driver.

Fantastic budget desk

A wonderful desk for the price. The item was received undamaged and ready for assembly. The instructions are vague but with common sense, its child's play. The desk itself is very sturdy, as long as the cross beams for support are attached. Its fairly light so it can be easily repositioned once assembled. I highly recommend for a budget desk for those looking for decent space and a durable wirk/game space. The only minuscule complaint is that the coating renders fingerprints/grease to easily show on the desk. I recommend a large pad of some sort if it matters to you

Nice desk for the price

Nice desk for the price. Bought this for my son's desktop computer. I'm leaving off the top shelf and putting the CPU on the far side, protecting it from spills or things being set on top of it. There are also little plastic dots to fill in the holes that don't get used so that was nice too. The desk is pretty solid. Went together very easily. All the holes match. The support bars go on the outside of the frame (directions are picture only so it's hard to tell). All the screws are in labeled zip lock baggies, which is nice. There are corner protectors on the table top, which I left on. I hate sharp corners. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.
