My machine shipped in three boxes. Be patient if you only receive one. The FY810 is an 810-series machine that is very popular. It is designed to sew material up to about 1/8" thick. The roller wheel is not powered; it is a follow type wheel. I used the machine with #69 thread and a #18 needle and it did fine. The machine, table, and servo motor comes unassembled. You will need some metric or adjustable wrenches for the table. The machine head is tested at the factory but not oiled. You will need sewing machine oil, after you assemble and mount the machine. I recommend ASIN: B01N809BF6 Mobil Velocite #6. It is the same as Juki Defrix #1. The reverse lever may not return if you try to slowly release it. The machine is new and the mating surfaces that move, when the reverse lever is applied, need to wear-in and mate. Ensure that you oil the components underneath the bed of the machine. Press the reverse lever and you can see what moves. I also recommend taking off the top and side cover plates and apply the sewing machine oil to all moving parts. There is a drip tray to catch excess oil. The needle bar lift mechanism comes unassembled and the manual is little help. Search online and find videos on how to assemble. With the machine mounted on the table, look under the bottom of the machine at the roller that is part of the needle lift assembly. Mount the shaft parallel with the roller of the knee lift on the machine. The assembly is like a Chinese puzzle (no pun intended) but not complicated, once you watch a video. It is a standard type knee lift for many industrial machines. The machine comes with a #14 needle but I did not use it on lightweight fabric. I was sewing Naugasoft vinyl with a #18 needle and #69 nylon thread. The tension is preset at the factory and requires very little adjustment. The maximum stitch length of this machine is 5mm. The minimum is a little less than 1mm. The table is excellent and precut for the FY810. The servo motor is 550 watts and has plenty of power. There is a wig attachment available for the FY810 on Amazon: ASIN B07H6WTB5Y. It is not Prime eligible but if you need faster delivery, search for any wig attachment that fits an "810" machine.
