These are too cute!! Easy too!
I was nervous... But it was so easy! Just keep it warm in your hand. We opted not to use the stencils as one of our daughters has a long name so no comment about that. We plan on using a sharpie or paint on the back. Also, one of my babies kept wanting to dig her nails in vs keeping her hand flat, but I was able to remold the clay multiple times. The only problem we had was no longer being able to use the circle paper which led to us using one of the other paper items inside. Note before you do this that the pictures on this paper will transfer to the back of your ornament. We have a little faded Instagram icon on the back, but that's ok. It adds to the charm. Very happy with finished products! I think we're going to display them until we get to put them on the tree next year!

Love Capturing this Moment in Time - And AMAZING Gift
I just bought this for my 7 month old daughter to capture this moment in time with her little hands and feet. It worked very well as I've used the Pottery Barn one in the past for my last daughter, but I loved that for the price, you can get both a hand print AND a foot print. The letter and time stamps are really nice too! I will be ordering multiples of these for all of my friends who had babies this Christmas.

Needs patience and finesse, but worth it.
This product is a great idea for a keepsake but does require some patience and finesse. I definitely recommend kneading it with your hands for at least five minutes so your body heat makes it easier to work with. I was able to do it myself with my 7 month old but I definitely recommend having a second person (I had to redo one of the prints). If your little one is less squirmy, you might be able to pull it off. Instructions say to do letter/number markings first before the printing but that seemed less impractical, so I did the prints first and worked around them with my son's name and the year. When doing the letters/numbers, don't push the stencils all the way down. If you press them in too little at first, you can always redo it to adjust, but if you go too deep while the clay is still malleable, it will start to fill in. The paper is a bit thin, so I'd also lay a hand towel down on your work space before starting. Keep in mind once you open the clay package, you have to be prompt, so set your letters/numbers aside beforehand and have them ready to go. Make sure to wash your hands, and kiddo's hands and/or feet before handling the clay. Any fuzz/crumbs/etc easily get embedded. Other than that, make sure to press firmly so the clay takes the print well. Just did this today, so I'm excited to see how this dries in a week.

I love this kit!
I bought this to use for my 7-month-old for her first Christmas. (I will say that, size-wise, this probably wouldn't work for a much older baby, but it was perfect for my daughter.) The kit was very easy to use with simple directions. I really liked how easy it was to make the impressions, and it was not as messy as I imagined something like this could be. My ornaments are drying right now, and I look forward to hanging them on the tree and even displaying them year-round. I would order from this company again!

Great quality, easy to use
I was afraid of opening this and doing this for the longest time since I'm not the best at crafts. Also, reading bad reviews of other similar products was making me dread doing this and running into issues like dry clay or not being able to get a good print. But this product is seriously idiot proof and so easy and fun to do. Even though I didn't open the product for awhile, the clay came in sealed bags and was moist and easy to mold. I thought I had to press her hand and foot in hard but I didn't have to at all. I did her foot first and pushed so hard she cried so I went much softer with her hand and still got an amazing print. It comes with little letters so you can customize with your baby's name. It was so easy to use I'm getting another one to do my dog's print :)

Great foot, funny baby bird hand.
So easy to use and made a beautiful foot imprint! BUT getting a baby hand print in this is just unrealistic lol. He wouldn't stop making a fist long enough to push his hand in and then the one time I got it open and pressed down he grabbed it when I tried to take his hand off so it looks like a tiny baby bird clawed at it lol. But that's not the product's fault, it's my baby's lmao. Having a kid is weird.

Much nicer than the ones i've bought in store
I really did like these - we bought 4 of the picture frame designs and 1 of the circle ornament designs for our 3rd son. We have bought other brands for our first two sons and given them as gifts at Christmas to Grandparents and great-grandparents. I found the clay much easier to mold and shape in the picture frames and it seems that the frame itself is very sturdy. The circle ornament clay was much more wet and took a bit of adjusting but it still worked really well. the molds turned out great and I loved the letter imprints that came with the circle ornament ones - we used them on the picture frames too. I was a little bit concerned with the price but I found it well worth the cost for quality.

Easy to do! Slow-Drying but seems Durable!
This was a super easy project to do. My only suggestion is doing it a week prior to when you need the finished product. The clay is very thick and requires a minimum of 5 days drying time. And if you're doing multiple (like I did), make sure you wipe your child's hand between each ornament, otherwise, his hand will be oily and won't make nice impressions on the later ones. Otherwise- this was easy, not too messy (no mixing of clay and water-- it comes in clay form, just needs some kneading), and came out great. They gave plenty of ribbon options too.

Worked great!
Exactly as expected. Was able to use one package of the clay to make both a hand and footprint so I have an extra! Not like marshmallow clay, harder and dries more like plaster. I bought to use as an ornament but it is probably too heavy to hang on a tree.

Suggestions for success
I did two sets and learned a few things that might be helpful. The first photo (with the baby hippo paper) is the first set that I did. My daughter is 9 months old. I followed the directions precisely. The clay came out smooth, though it did take some effort. I made the imprints when she was awake but calm, and distracted by holding a toy with her other hand. The hand imprint turned out perfectly. The only mistake I made was letting the clay sit too long before stamping her name and date. It cracked a bit. And I pushed the letters in too far. Then I tried to smooth some of the mistakes, only resulting in more cracks/wrinkles in the clay. Her foot imprint turned out much better. The second set of imprints I did one at a time. However, this time she was more active and curious even though I was trying to distract her. Her hand imprint took 3 attempts. Each time I was able to knead the clay smooth, but at the 3rd attempt, it was my last opportunity because I could tell the clay was beginning to dry and would not turn out smooth if I did it a 4th time. On both sets I was unable to fully punch out the hole for the ribbon. I tried my best, but the tool just didn't cut all the way through. I ended up with deep holes, but a small bit of clay still in there. I thought I could let it dry fully, then punch out that little bit...but now I'm afraid the ornament will crack if I do. We will probably just use the stands instead of hanging. Both sets took about 4 days to dry. I didn't realize that when I ordered them. I found out when I opened them and read the directions. Good thing I had opened them just in time to let them dry and still give as Christmas gifts. The ornaments are very heavy. I can't imagine hanging them on my tree. They are going to sit out on display instead. Overall, I'm really happy with the quality of the product and the end result. My suggestions: Do one imprint at a time. Make your imprint and stamp the letters/numbers as quickly as possible because as the clay dries the stamps will turn out less smooth. After completely finishing one imprint, THEN move on to opening and starting the second. My mistake was that I kneaded both clay balls and that resulted in the clay sitting out too long and beginning to dry. Once the clay begins to dry, stop touching it. You will only make things worse. You have a relatively short amount of time before the surface of the clay begins to dry and become prone to cracking. Consider the climate you are in. I live in a desert, the air is dry, and the clay dried quickly because of that. I'm sure the temperature of your room will also affect the clay. It's common sense.
