Very nice old school analog alarm clock. Just like one I grew up with. Exactly what I wanted to keep my phone out of the bedroom. Easy to set up, never fails unless battery is dead. Very small, barely takes any room on my bed table. Keeps time well, after almost a week not even a couple minutes off. I like how alarm chirps soft first but gets louder if you don't react to it for some time.

So this is a travel alarm and it's small. really small. 2" is not big at all. Its very good for a night stand or a desk but don't expect to read it from even 10 feet away because the hands are, you guessed it, small. Look folks, it's called "Ultra Small" for a reason. Also, the face cover is a very shiny plastic so reflections hit it and make it harder to read from across the room. Here's the thing about the alarm volume: It starts out quiet and then progressively get louder in 4 stages. It gets pretty loud in the end. A lot of the reviews here seem to indicate that it never gets loud, but I assume it's because they don't let it go long enough to hear the 4th stage. It's enough to wake me up anyway. It's really not a bad little clock. And really nice when space is at a premium.

I was actually kind of happy when my old digital alarm clock died because I could buy a new clock. The Ultra Small, Peakeep Battery Travel Alarm Clock with Snooze and Light, Silent with No Ticking Analog Quartz (Aquamarine) fits my needs perfectly. It has hands! It has a bright light, just a button press to see the time in the dark. It is easy to set the time and alarm. It has a progressively louder alarm. It snoozes. It has real batteries and not the flat disc type. Just like the clocks I used to have way back when. Of course, there is no AM / PM setting you need to arm the alarm when you go to bed or at least during the 12 hours previous to when you want the alarm to sound. Don't worry, it becomes an easy habit. Thanks Pekeep for offering this great product at an affordable price.

I liked the looks of this little clock and thought it would be wonderful for my trip. Yes, it is the right size for packing, but it only keeps time for 10 minutes at a time. Works for 10 minutes and stops, check battery and shake and works for another 10 minutes. I need a clock I can depend on so I am sending it back. Update: Thought it was important to let everyone know this company reached out to me, apologized for the non working clock, and offered to send me another one at no expense to me! Was very impressed the way they tracked their sales. Would have taken them up on the offer but had already sent the clock back to Amazon. I have given them 3 stars now in place of the one I had originally given them for what companies today take the time to care about your problem with their product. Update again: I emailed the company and thanked them for the offer, but had already sent the clock back to Amazon. They told me they were going to send me a new clock anyway. It arrived the day before yesterday and has been running great since. I am moving up my opinion of them up from an original 1 star, to 3 stars when they reached out to me. Now they are going to get 5 stars. Who doesn't want to deal with companies like this who take pride in their product.

Package arrived on time, well packaged and perfect condition, The clock is very easy to use, tiny great size and the BEST feature No tic tic to keep me awake during the night.Alarm clocks are usually kept close so you can turn them off the moment they wake you, but an alarm clock that makes noise ticking and ticking all night when you are a light sleeper end up in the drawer of the night table where you can hear the alarm but not the all night long ticking; this is what happened to my last alarm clock, reached to turn it off from the drawer with my eyes closed an to the bare cold tile floor he went to do his last ticking, sorry to say I won't be missing him.YOUR alarm clock is another story completely, quiet as a mouse except when the time comes to chime me awake so, no drawer for him ,and such a tiny size that he reigns on top of my night table.Thank You for a great clock. My husband wants one too!!

I bought this tiny alarm to use when I travel. I'm trying to get in the habit of not using my phone within 1 hour of bedtime and within the first hour of waking up. Having my phone next to my bed would be too tempting so I charge it in airplane mode in another room. At home, I use the larger peakeep mint-colored alarm. That one is less reliable (it didn't work one morning and it was set-up correctly...waiting a bit longer to give that one a review). This little one, however, has never let me down. It's a little more jarring to wake up to (the other has multiple alarm options but this one is a straightforward, traditional beeping) and it progressively gets louder. When I'm not traveling, I keep it at my desk.

I was looking for a small alarm clock that did not have to be plugged in, quiet, no glaring light in my face, with a small footprint on my table--this is it!. I keep one by my bed, one by my lazyboy. For me, they're perfect. Totally quiet, works with one AA battery, so easy to use that there aren't any instructions with it! The clock hands are NOT glow-in-the-dark and there's no glaring back-light to light up your room, but there's a small button you can push so a light comes on and you can read the time when dark. The alarm is loud--not some shrimpy little buzz, but loud like a regular full sized alarm. You turn off the alarm by pushing down the bar on top of the alarm--very easy, no fumbling around the back of the clock looking for a button to slide or push.

Overall nicely done. When they say it doesn't make the loud ticking that the older clocks like this did, they're right. If you put your ear on the clock you can hear a faint tinny ticking noise, so there is still a plain clockwork mechanism in it. But at night, even two feet away in dead quiet, you can't hear a thing. This clock will NOT keep you up at night! The setting knobs aren't going to let you set precise times (like 6:10 vs 6:15) for the alarm, but they're good enough. Alarm is reasonably loud when it goes off, before the volume starts escalating. And easy to silence with the pop-top button. Do I want more for my everyday alarm clock? Yes. But this is perfect for traveling. A little bigger than expected, but nicely simple and quiet, no digital nonsense for setting, no nightlights needed to see the time at night, the luminous hands work very well too.

I had to paw through nearly two-dozen pages of Amazon’s bedroom alarm clocks to find this sweetheart. I was searching for a small analog presentation, bedside clock where the alarm turn-off was just a button I could punch down with a sleepy hand to turn it off when it sounded. I couldn’t stand fumbling around the sides or the back to turn the darn thing off before it woke my wife. Another clock I’d owned had the snooze delay on top; I’d punch it down, off I thought, and then it would sound again, even more loudly, a few minutes after I’d left the bedroom. (Talk about a marriage-wrecker). Also, I wanted a small peek-a-boo light to tell me what time it was when I go for an early morning bathroom break. That button is nicely placed on the upper right-hand front corner, and when the alarm sounds, it’s also the button for a snooze delay, something I never use—alarm sounds, time to get up, period! There are other reviews saying they object to the plink-plink sound of the almost universal digital one-second ticks. Guess what? This baby has a smooth running motor, not unlike the mains-powered alarm clocks of decades ago. Press it next to your ear and you’ll hear a faint hum; one inch away and it’s completely inaudible! At a later time I might epoxy quarter-inch lengths of wooden dowel to the two fairly flat alarm and time setting wheels on the back to make them a bit easier to grip. Hopefully dear Amazon will move this baby up to page one of this category. That’s where it belongs, and where I’d give it six stars at double the price. JUST BUY IT!

Small enough to be eminently packable and large enough to be seen CLEARLY in the wee small hours. Great for travel, this alarm clock will not set off TSA scanners like larger travel alarm clocks are wont to do. For those who say you don't really need a small clock in our brave new world of i-clocks, may I remind you that power blackouts are not infrequent events and have a distressing way of occurring when you don't want them to! This was inexpensive, it arrived speedily and the Robin's Egg Blue colour very appealing. The ticking is mercifully quiet: some alarm clocks are so loud it keeps me awake. Not this one. It's easy to read the numbers. It looks like a prettier version of my trusty Braun travel alarm clock - I don't know that the Peakeep version is equally sturdy and attractive. Time will tell if it's as reliable as the Braun ideation. A good buy, this. Belongs in every traveller's grab-bag of tricks. Thanks for reading this review about an indispensable, everyday essential - I hope it's helped you!
