Love it!

Love this product, My two and a half year old lives this. Plays with it everyday. The stuffed dog was a little cheap but has many other stuffed animals to replace it. Great purchase and price 😀

Gets kids comfortable with the doctor, too!

I'll admit: we got this to trick our 2 year old daughter who was obsessed with animals but terrified of the doctor. The kit has a good variety of tools that are basically just human medical tools, but which she was able to get comfortable with on the pretense that she was taking care of her pets. (They are thankfully not sharp enough to injure real pets, in addition to stuffed animals - our three dogs have gotten countless checkups!) The stethoscope and the blood pressure cuff were especially useful for us. By the time she was 3, she was able to sit confidently for her checkup and talk excitedly about how all the doctor's tools were similar to her veterinarian tools. Mission accomplished.

My Kids LOVE this set

My two young girls LOVE this set. One was given as a Christmas gift and we loved it so much that my younger one wanted one also. This is a great set. The items are sturdier than other sets that are on here and the carrier is amazing. Pros: - Comes with everything you need to be a vet - Items are sturdy - Carrier opens so you can have a bed for your pet - Easy to carry around Cons: - None! We love this set and my two girls play with it all the time. They have so much fun being creative and loving to their doggies. They even have other play animals that they make sure to get checkups. Highly recommend over other items. It was worth the extra few dollars to have a set that wont fall apart as soon as you get it.

Just the right balance of toys to be multi-functional

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my daughter because she loves animals (but I also wanted to reinforce the girls-can-do-anything mentality, so I wanted this to be able to function as a Doctor's kit as well). This set comes with a good variety of tools that can be used to play either doctor or veterinarian. It's cute, durable, and a pretty good investment for the money since you can play with it different ways.

Great quality with a lot of learning opportunities

We found this as a black Friday deal, and it was worth every penny. I was amazed by the quality of the product. My only problem is that the cute little stuffed dog isn't as good of quality as all of the pieces. This is easily overlooked though because, since receiving it, my toddlers have been using the vet kit on all of their stuffed animals.

My class of toddlers love this!

I got this for my class of toddlers (12-24 months) and they just adored it! I did leave out the puppy for hygiene purposes and left the carrier up on the shelf since it's a little too large for their little hands. But they LOVED all the little tools!! It was so fun getting to show them how to use the tools and they kept ask for shots, their blood pressure checked, and they heart beat checked! So cute! And hopefully helpful the next time they go to the doctor. I monitored them very closely to make sure nothing had a choking hazard or would be used inappropriately, and so far so good.

bigger than expected, lots of pieces!

My 4 year old absolutely loved this gift. He opened it right away and go to work caring for the little dog included. It comes with plenty of pieces and toys for them to really give their pets a through checkup. The carrier was bigger than expected & holds all the pieces included easily. The small dog it comes with could have been better quality, it’s body is quite hard and it doesn’t move its position, but my son thinks it’s cute and loves it just the same. He said they have this set at his preschool too, so it seems like it will hold up well. I would certainly buy this as a gift for friends.

The perfect kit for a child who loves to play veterinarian!

This kit is so cute, comes with a ton of dr essential tools to take care of the puppy and a lot of them have some sort of functioning aspect to them. The crate works well and has two different ways to open and the handle is thick and sturdy. The only complaint I have is with the dog that it came with. Its made cheaply and is very hard and stiff. Of course my child has plenty of toy togs but the one that comes with it just isn't any good. It also is so small that it you can't use any of the tools on it that came with the toy, so I would make sure to have some sort of backup play dog.

Nice

I chose this set over the Melissa and Doug one, mainly for the carrier, and am so glad I did. There are quite a few vet/doctor tools that all seem well-made and sturdy, and the carrier stores everything away nicely. The dog it comes with is small, yes, but a perfect size to fit in the carrier along with all the stuff. Anyway, my daughter likes using the tools on all of her stuffed animals, of all sizes. It came in a cardboard box, not like a toy you'd buy in a store, but still easily wrappable.

Very cool set of vet equipment for 3-year old

This is a great playset of vet tools that my 3-year-old grandson loved and played with for hours. I introduced each item showing him how to feed, brush, clip and examine the puppy's ears and teeth, plus listen to heartbeat with stethoscope, take its temperature with thermometer, and blood pressure with the cuff. The crate is pretty sturdy so I think it will last. My daughter is a nurse so she thinks it's cool. I'm very pleased with the kit.
