My son got this for his third birthday from his favorite uncle. What else can I say? Talk about realistic! It's PURPLE and the size of a football with legs...and it WALKS. and makes the most ferocious ROARING SOUND at an impressive decibel. And the tongue and spines LIGHT UP with blinking rainbow colors. He loved it. Momma appreciated that all this action took up so much power that that AAA batteries that came with it ran out within 2 days of continual use.

This is actually a very high quality toy. I agree with other reviews, this would definitely much more expensive in other stores. All the kids at the birthday party wanted a turn playing with him lol. He was a huge hit with the kids 2-4 years of age.

great little dinosaur!

Pretty sturdy toy, I bought for my granddaughter who loves dinosaurs but once I had it turned on, the sound is so very real it scared her. We gave it to her friend until she gets a little older, she is only 2 1/2. it's a good product though

Great for children of many ages!

Five stars hands down! I bought three different ones, because my son had specifically asked for a 'robot dinosaur' and not knowing what kind of dinosaur, just figured, eh. When he opened these among HIS MANY MANY OTHER GIFTS he couldn't stop playing with these for hours! I am not even kidding! I just sat there with this huge smile on my face, and kept thinking: wow, wish they had things like that when I was younger! [Then again I likely would have been scared of them ha ha]. The only downside would be (like many of the other reviews) the roaring. It's not that it is loud or randomly plays when turned off. (Like really? Parents: if you find yourself annoyed with the noise, pick it up, switch the 'on' switch to 'off,' problem solved...). It's just that your child will love it so much that it will be loud and you likely wont want to stop your child from having so much fun! GREAT TOY!!! I absolutely recommend this!

LED Light up Roaring Dinosaur - delights all the kids

This was a hit with the four year old. It was smaller than I though (my fault as I didn't look at directions) but perfect size and everyone enjoyed the light up and walking figure...except for the small dogs. The roar was quite loud and non stop and I can see at some point the parents removing batteries for a while and mentioned that some of the reviews mentioned this - but the 4 year old loved this and loved pointing it toward a younger sibling to torment as older siblings must do. But once the younger sibling gets to play with it on his own - doubt this effect will last!

Very Cool Toy

Got this for my 3yr old daughter, who loves purple and dinosaurs. Huge hit! I placed a small bandaid with cotton over the speaker to make it a bit quieter.

My son loves dinosaurs!!! I bought him this great walking dinosaur as a surprise. While he was playing in his room I turned it on and had it walk on in his room. His face lit up like his dinosaur does! The roar is loud and realistic! The light up spikes and tongue look great in the dark or in his lit room. He loved his Dino I just wish there were more styles to buy!

When is open season on purple Dinos?

This thing is loud and annoying, so kids love it. It’s not my favorite toy by all means, especially when it gets left on and wanders around the house. If someone slightly annoys you, it would be a perfect gift for their kids! It does walk and light up and make noise. It does better on carpet than hardwood, but still makes tracks on hardwood. It’s a little cheesy but good for littles.

I bought this for my Grandson to go with a book "How do dinosaurs go to slept". He was fighting going to sleep. He loves the book and now sleeps with the Dinosaur!!

Great Child Pleasing Toy (plus it drives the parents crazy!)

Our 3 year old grandson LOVES this toy. His parents (our son and his wife) not so much. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! As Jackie Gleason used to say, "How sweet it is." Who is Jackie Gleason? Try GOOGLE, kiddo! Anyway, toy worked great right out the box. Lots of great blinking lights, really loud, annoying roar, and walks intermittently. Really a fun toy, IMHO.
