I almost didn't purchase these because of some of the negative reviews. I figured I'd give it a shot anyway since it's such a good price. These are EXCELLENT room darkening curtains! They seem well made, are a nice color and definitely keep the room dark. I agree with another review I read before I purchased... you can't buy one curtain and spread it out across the window. You have to purchase the correct amount. I think this would be the case with any room darkening curtains. These are great and well worth the price!!!!!

I ordered the color pool for my daughters nursery and these work great, I previously had a cheaper generic brand of blackout curtains that I purchased from amazon but they were horrible. Once I put the eclipse curtains on I could instantly tell a difference, not only do they block out 90% of the light, the room got cooler too which is important since recently the weather here in Indiana has been in 90s the past few weeks.

I notice a lot of people are saying these aren't black out curtains. I feel the need then to specify that I ordered the black ones, based on the reviews. I am very happy with these! They allow just enough light in for me to navigate the room, but not enough for me to have trouble sleeping during the day. They also seem to cut down a bit on the noise from my neighbor's parties. I haven't ordered any other color yet (though I am considering it), but I can definitely say that the black curtains work!

For some strange reason the only closet in my studio apt. is located in the kitchen. The door to the closet is missing and getting the landlord to pay attention is like.... Also, I stir fry and it's a great way to grease up all my clothing. This curtain panel is just right. It fits a doorway with a couple inches to spare. Once I found the right tension rod, voila, a screen for the closet. The rod pockets fit the tension rod beautifully. The heavyweight fabric stays put even with a bit of a breeze going. The light neutral color blends in. It isn't too startling when you see a curtain in the middle of the doorway. . . I did check the light transmitted through the curtain using a small flashlight. Not good. Even with the room lights on, it was easy to see how much light got through. It will never block out full sunlight. Shucks. Maybe I'll get two panels and use these to create... roooms. The thermal backing might keep this place warmer.

These are outstanding curtains! They are not what I wanted but turned out to be what I needed. I wanted a lighter "denim" color and these are more of a navy blue than what I pictured as denim should be. Think brand new jeans that have never been washed blue. The texture does have a kinda denim look to it but not like real denim. But it works well for a denimish look. But they turned out to be exactly the right curtain for the room. They are very good quality and not just for the ridiculously low price but for any curtain. The wrinkles are starting to fade out after a week and I washed them and let them hang dry to speed up the process and to get the funky slight chemical smell out after the sun hit them for a few days. There was a little chemical smell after the sun hit them for a few day but that is starting to go away. They are very room darkening and no light gets through them. These were for my man cave and worked perfectly.

Ordered two of these for my daughters room as they were cheaper than what was offered at Walmart. They came individually packaged in plastic. The color is more of a dark pink, not quite hot pink. "Raspberry" I would consider a bit more purplish or red. But we love the color. They do a good job of blocking light coming into the room. I would suggest buying two for the average window so that you have coverage on the sides as well as the length of the window.

The color is perfect, as is advertised!! We put them in the dryer on low setting to get the (shipping) wrinkles out and they drape so nicely. Remember they come with one panel. They don't black out the room but I didn't expect it to. There's just enough light that the room is darker for sure but you can see. I do know that the lighter the color the less black out there is.. something to keep in mind. Would recommend to anyone especially at this price. LOVE THEM!!!!

These are great! Did a great job at making my room darker but the outer fabric still looks stylish. They’re very plain but they make my room look great. I bought 4 panels and I will most likely buy more in the future for more rooms. They are very wrinkled when taken out of the package but I’m sure with time or a bit of steam they’ll start to look better. If you’re looking for some basic window coverage that is inexpensive and of good quality, I would suggest getting these. The white is true white and they look clean.

Bought these for my daughter 3 years ago, and they have been awesome. Got her the pool color which is a gorgeous Tiffany blue. Originally it was hard to iron wrinkles out because it says to only use a “warm iron” which only faded the most drastic folds, but within a few weeks they hung perfectly and no wrinkles at all, so give it time if your concerned. They are definitely room darkening which is what I wanted. It doesn’t make the room like midnight or anything, but I didn’t want that. The fabric is a nice stiff formal looking quality, and it’s coated on the underside in a white layer. So the front and back are not the same colors. I love that because from the outside of my house it’s just a nice white color and not bright blue. This coating also keeps the summer heat from penetrating her room, and she has 2 windows that get direct sunlight. Loved these so much I just bought several more panels to do my babies room in white. Once again, ironing only helped the most drastic folds, but I expect it will be perfect in no time. The white are true white, thankfully! They don’t seem to darken the room quite as much as the colored ones, but it’s still a HUGE difference from having nothing. They all came in the exact same length, I’ve had problems with curtains in the past being unevenly hanging at the bottom from poor cuts and measurements on the manufacturers end. Not so with these! They seem to be very well made and hold up very well over time, even with a toddler always hanging on them or pulling them.

Love these curtains. They absolutely black out, and keep the cold and heat at bay. I have an older house and the windows are drafty. These have helped tremendously with keeping the heat/cold in and/or out. You must buy wrap around rods and make sure you purchase the panels that are significantly longer than your window to get the maximum black out effect. You need the curtain to go inches above and below to cut down on the light that will bleed from the top and bottom. The wrap around rods give the ability to hug the window catching the bleeding light on the sides. And of course you need more than one panel per window for it to flow, and function properly. For example: a 46 inch wide window needs two 46 inch panels NOT one 46 inch panel.
