I have been hesitant to try most wireless pc headsets as my bluetooth on my motherboard (i7 4770) is sketchy, at best. That said, I read reviews on this and several other wireless chat-ready headsets, and the quality of the build, the fit (I go 6'2" with a good sized head), the sound and the EASE of hookup/use were why I chose this headset. So far (about 6 weeks)- GOOD choice. They are well built, have great sound (even for music), the chat microphone sounds clear (or so I'm told), they fit/put away well - and they worked RIGHT out of the box (Windows 10). At any point when I turn them on, they tend to take right over as both the main sound (ears) and main communications device (microphone). Unless things change, these are great. I'm damned glad I chose them.

Unfortunately I got in when the price was nearly double, but at around $86 I would jump in feet first if I were you and debating. I'm not going to get crazy, but this headset is EXTREMELY comfortable. The bass is EXCELLENT. This is the most comfortable headset I've donned, like, ever, and I've been using headsets for gaming since '99. I haven't had an opportunity to trial them with gaming as of yet, but I use them for recording presentations and listening to music while I work next to my girlfriend. Presentations are recorded extremely well, and I can still hear girlfriend well enough when she engages me that I can take them off and say "huh?" but also good enough I can tune her out while she's on conference calls all afternoon. I've had these since around June 2018 and they're still performing quite well. The battery life is definitely a plus-plus as well. I would recommend these to a friend. I hope Logitech is listening, because bravo ladies and gents, you've impressed me when I thought that headsets just weren't something to get charged up about. For casual listening and enjoyment? Buy these! seriously! Why are you still reading? Just do it!

So my husband got one of these and loved it, which of course meant I got one. To give you some background, my husband and I are both blind. We keep our computers in a central location, then use wireless headphones and wireless keyboards. Since we use screen readers, i.e. audio speech, and not a monitor this works well. The caveat to this is that since we're both on the computers pretty much all day, we need long battery life and good range. I also have absolute requirements for my wireless headphones. They must have a volume control, they must have a microphone, and just in case they die they must be able to be used while charging. These headphones meet every single expectation I have and then some! I've used logitech headphones before and been impressed, but I've always had to plug them in near the end of the day. Not these! I generally get up sometime between 9:00 and noon, and might go lay down around 8:00 or 9:00 at night, though I usually don't sleep for a while. I plug them in when I lay down but that's just in case. Quite literally the only time these things have beeped at me because of a low battery is when I forgot to plug them in one night after a day of use. In that case, they still lasted half the next day before they started to complain. The controls are simple. There's an on/off switch, not a button, so it's easy for me to quickly tell if they are on. The volume roller is a bit easy to bump, but I'm okay with that. I'd prefer midi over micro usb, and the cord can be a bit picky trying to plug it in, but I will say for a micro port it seems sturdy enough which isn't always the case with micro. I like how pushing the microphone up mutes it, though there's a mute toggle button too for those who prefer that. As for noise cancelling, it works perhaps too well. If I have both headphones on and my husband talks to me, I often have to pull one side off my ear so I can hear him. Thankfully the swivel design of these makes it fairly comfortable even when I leave one ear free so I can hear him or something else. I love these headphones, and if they ever break I will be sad, but I'll buy another pair for sure.

UPDATE: After one year of use one of the gold contacts in the micro USB charging port on the headset broke and fell out. So while the headset itself still works, it can no longer charge the battery. The set was still under warranty when this occurred, but rather than send it back I decided to solder in a new one. Long story short, that didnt go so well and now its truly dead. That being said, I was so happy with the set for the year that I owned it that I am buying it again as soon as I finish this update. I recommend buying a magnetic charging cable as I believe that would completely eliminate the potential for the failure I experienced. Pros: Lightweight and comfortable. I honestly forget I'm wearing them sometimes. Stellar range and reception. My house contains a fair amount of cinderblock and as you can imagine, this causes a lot of trouble for wireless devices. These headphones have had no trouble maintaining their connection throughout my home and even when they do drop the signal when I go outside for instance, they just search for a new channel and reconnect. Removable battery pack. This is the greatest design decision ever. NO HIDEOUS LED LIGHTING. Thank the gods sanity prevailed and they left off the pointless, ugly, and battery draining LED lighting that every freaking computer component and peripheral is dripping with nowadays. I dont need my head to resemble the Las Vegas strip at midnight when I'm using my headphones. I haven't used the mic at all but its unobtrusive even when it down and theres a built in pop filter. Which is probably a great feature for you online gamers. Cons: None so far. I'm glad my old wireless headset didnt give up the ghost before these came out. I was going to buy the Logitech Artemis Spectrum (despite them being ugly as sin) because they were the only Logitech set available other than the G930. Which I had in the past and loved but had issues with the connection dropping. But then these suddenly popped up and checked all the right boxes.

Absolutely love this headset. Read a few troubling negative reviews on here, but I haven’t experienced any of it. My Discord friends say my mic sounds great, the sound quality is amazing (mess with the EQ!), and it fits like a dream. LOVE the flip-up-to-mute function on the mic. Plus, it’s a dead sexy headset. I wasn’t in love with the sound quality or the fit of my Arctis 7’s, but the G533 is perfect. It’s a snug fit that feels secure, but doesn’t hurt my head even after a few hours. I didn’t find the mesh padding scratchy either. My only nitpicks are that I wish the side tone could be louder (kinda quiet even when turned all the way up), and the band at the top is plastic, which I’m always afraid of if I take them anywhere. The Arctis has a metal band which was a plus.

This is my first review of a product, but I had to make one for these head phones. I bought them mostly for my job, but I also wanted a pair of head phones that I could bring home and use for PC gaming and also something that would work on my PlayStation 4 pro as well.. I bought this model particularly because of the claimed 16 hour battery life and I'll tell you what, it's actually closer to 18 hours. Which is amazing. Also the distance these stay connected when I'm away from my computer at work is astounding. I work on the top 2 floors of a 4 story office building and I can literally go anywhere on the top 2 floors i work on and still stay connected to my computer (except for in the elevator lol).. The ear piece is very comfortable and soft and doesnt hurt my head after wearing them for an extended period of time. The sound quality is amazing. The software is easy to use and the presets are all useable depending on what you are doing and it is just as easy to make and use custom settings. The 7.1 surround sound is better than I could of hoped for and is simple to turn on and off when it's not needed. The microphone is crystal clear and the noise cancellation works amazingly well, especially considering how loud of an environment I work in and ive never had an issue where the person I am calling had an issue hearing me because of background noise (which was a big issue with my last headset and The main reason I decided to buy a headset at this price range). The only sort of negative I have for this headset is that they are pretty bulky and heavy, but I think that with all of the positives and quality of everything else your getting with these, it's pretty much a moot point. I would definitely recommend these more for home entertainment and gaming and such, but they make a great set of work headphones as well. I give these 2 big enthusiastic thumbs up!

I was SO TIRED of having cords all over my desk and having to rip off my headset every time I wanted to get up. Plus, sometimes I want to talk to my gamer boys while I'm walking around the house. I had the G230 before and it lasted me several years. Oddly, my friends have said the mic quality on this wireless, more expensive headset is a little worse than the 230 which I always got compliments on. However, my voice still sounds very crisp and clear and it's good enough for streaming. ***IMPORTANT!!!!!** if, like me, you wear glasses and are constantly infuriated by the discomfort associated with the dreaded glasses+headset combo, this headset will alleviate you of those woes. It's comfy even with my glasses on for hours at a time. The Logitech Gaming Software makes it really easy to customize. However, it is a VERY comfortable headset and VERY attractive. The aesthetics of most gaming headsets is horrible, like a Hot Topic Nightmare. So, if you want looks and performance and no ugly cords this is a really solid way to go. I'm super happy with my purchase.

Stop looking at the G933's or anything else. Get these! You won't regret it. PRO'S... + These are 24G lighter then the G933's and you can feel the difference. Maybe it's better weight distribution? + Battery life is 16 hrs on a full charge compared to G933's battery life of 11 hrs without RGB and 8 hrs with RGB. + G533 build quality is superior. The G933's constantly squeaked at the joints and were made out of crap quality plastic that looks nice but has no function. + Wireless signal is better on the G533's than the G933's. I can now listen to music anywhere in my house without it dropping signal. The G933's would drop signal as soon as I stepped away from my computer. + MIC is a bit better because of the G533's added pop filter. Still sucks if you have high standards, but it's an improvement over the G933's. + G533 has 1 macro button. I have mine bound to toggle surround sound... I like things simple. + G933's produced a lot of static when volume was above 50%. I have these G533's turned up to 100% and hear 0 static. Terrific! Cons... - You can't sit in front of a mirror and admire your sick RGB lighting. these have one light and that's the power indicator (green) - Glossy material on ear-cups is prone to fingerprints. - The USB charging cable isn't braided unlike the G933's. Great headphones buy them. Much better than anything else on the market. Overall I think that these headphones offer a very simplistic approach to it's predecessor, the G933. Everything the G933's do, these do better. Comfort, battery life, weight, mic, build quality and wireless signal have all been improved. These headsets offer

Got tired of my G930 disconnecting all the time among all the other problems I had and they finally died on me. This is what I went with as a replacement after doing some research. To keep it short, I think the G533 is better than than the G930 in every conceivable way. The battery life is better. I do get 16 hours from it out of a full charge. I also think they are more comfortable than the G930 although that will come down to personal preference due to the different materials used. I went through the whole 16 hours on one of my days off just as test and had no issues. The wireless range is much better. They stay synced throughout most of my house. Never had a connection issue. The mic is better and I love its flexibility. The sound quality is better after I messed about with the equalizer in both stereo and surround modes. I vastly prefer the little switch instead of having to hold down a button to turn them off and on. The dial is much more sensitive. If the headset had more than one G key, I'd be over the moon. My only gripe, and it's a tiny one, is that the mic won't stay out unless pulled all the way out. These are great other than that. I highly recommend, especially at under $100.

Pros: - Wireless implementation is plug-and-play seamless; "just works" with a Windows 10 PC. Unlike my last headset, this one never drops the connection or makes stuttering noises. The volume dial doesn't get tripped up from being in-game either. - Clean, understated design. Would be embarrassed to wear most other gaming headsets. - Comfortable. It's relatively light and fits larger heads well (can't comment on other head types). The coarse mesh texture was pleasing to me, though some have complained about it so your mileage may vary. - Sound quality for gaming (main purpose) is pretty good. The directional audio works well in stereo mode (not as well as a cheaper wired solution, but pretty well). I did not like the 7.1 surround feature and immediately disabled it, though to be fair there supposedly aren't any good 7.1 implementations out there. - Never had a battery life issue. Haven't tested 15 hour claims but no reason to doubt it. - Slick software suite with perhaps an overkill feature set. Let's you customize one of the buttons to basically do anything (mine is set to play/pause). Cons: - Sound quality for music is just adequate. You may disagree depending on how much of an audiophile you are. On a scale of folks who obsess over sound curves and folks who don't notice paper speakers, I'm somewhere in the middle. A wired solution at the same price point would be better for this. - No bluetooth option. Although much lower quality, BT would have made this a more versatile overall headset (wouldn't mind being able to use it to take calls on phone for example). To be fair, competitors at this price point don't offer BT either. - Build quality is good, not great. With care I'm sure it'll last for years and years, but the pivot points don't convey a sense of assured permanence the way more expensive headsets sometimes do. Misc: - I don't use mics, so couldn't test this one out. The way it pops out and tucks in feels pretty slick.
