Overall It is the best range hood I've ever used. Powerful suction: the oil smoke is not noticeable anymore in the kitchen; low level noise: I am not sure if it the quietest one but I can hear people talking when it is on; stylish looking: it fits the cabinets perfectly. I strongly recommend it to my friends around.

Works as advertised

We purchased this unit to replace our under counter mounted microwave / hoodfan. The microwave was so hard to keep clean and this unit looked like it would preform better as an over the cook top vent. If you follow the links to the site the installation is exactily as the video shows. We completed our install in about 2 hours. The only trouble we had placing the unit was the need to drill holes as our back splash is full tile in the cook top area. Its a great product, fully worth the 5 stars.

FOTILE JQG7501 is much quieter than PacAir and sucks fumes better than PacAir

These are designed specifically for Asian style cooking, the western style range hood from Home Depot and Lowes just don’t have the suction power to deal with it. We just moved to a new house, at the last house, we installed PacAir (妈妈乐) fan that was rated at 960CFM, it did its job but it was very noisy at full power, we could not carry out normal conversation when the fan is running. FOTILE JQG7501 is much quieter than PacAir and sucks fumes better than PacAir. The customer support team of Fotile did great job to coordinate the installation. The installation team did a great job as you can see they are fearless, LOL. Overall we are very happy with the whole experience buying/install the FOTILE JQG7501. BTW, the hood can exhaust from both top and back, but by exhausting from the back, the efficiency will suffer, so we decided to go with the most efficiency/expensive/proper way of installation. So far as good.

Just got this advanced range hood installed today. When the technician was uninstalling the previous GE one, we was surprised to see that the duct pipe was still very clean, which means that range hood did no functionality at all during the past two years. It was just a decoration. How could I believe that. The installation is pretty straightforward. And after installation, I started to stew some beef. Usually, the whole house is full of the smell. Now the magic thing is that I almost can not smell any in my bedroom although I left the door open. Now I could smell the food flavor and smoke out of my house significantly, but not much inside. Fotile range hood really works well as it discharges most oil smoke through the duct pipe. So I really like it.

Except the expensive installation fee we have to pay - after read all reviews we decided have someone installed it for us, the product works very well. We feel much ease during cooking right now. A little bit noisy, but understandable. Only issue is the installation, can the company figure out a standard way for customers? We already have all vent and pipes be installed previously, hanging this stuff cost us more than $200. Our friend who is also interested about this product, get a quote of more than $1000 because they do not have pipes pre-installed.

Great product, slick design!

I think this is a great product. Got it during BF, still not cheap. The power of the motors are not the biggest on the market, but the design really helps the performance. I don’t see any smoke getting away. Also it looks much better than competing products. Finally, the sound is not bad at all even on high setting. One minor suggestion is to change the light bulb color to a warmer color, that would make food more appealing! I would definitely recommend this product, very solid job Fotile!
