I'm amazed at how so many self-proclaimed makeup "experts" in these reviews talk about smearing or rubbing the pads around their eyes. That is the last thing you want to with the skin in that area. Simply holding the pad down and applying very gentle pressure, without moving the pad, is the most effective way to remove even stubborn eye makeup. These pads are great - not irritating, not astringent, not rough, not greasy or slimy. One pad is enough for mascara and eyeliner on both eyes for my regular daily (light) eye makeup. I love the texture and scent. They're very pleasant and soft. The only pads I've tried that are both effective and gentle. No complaints, am thankful for such a nice product.

I reviewed this product on another site, but then they stopped carrying it. (Sad face.) So, luckily, I found it on Amazon for the same price. I love love love it! I have sensitivity issues with every other brand and type of eye makeup remover I've ever tried. This one is the best so far. It does not irritate my eyes, at all! It will remove even waterproof mascara, albeit with a little more rubbing than if it were not waterproof. To me, that is to be expected. It is not greasy and does not leave a film. I hope Burt's Bees will continue making these and that I can keep buying them online.

Great product. I have very sensitive skin and even the Almay and Yes to Cucumber brands would leave my skin irritated and a little red. This does a great job and typically I'll only require 1 pad to remove makeup from both eyes (2 if I go heavy on the Liner and Mascara that day). I will definitely buy this again and again!

Gentle makeup remover without the harsh chemicals. I also love the packaging of this product; so much better than those in plastic that easily get dried out. The shape makes taking makeup off a breeze. Highly recommended. In fact, I won't use anything else.

My new favorite brand

Great eye makeup remover pads. I use a primer, shadow, eyeliner and several coats of mascara. Takes a lot to remove all of it completely and these pads do the trick. After I remove all that makeup, I can then use a white washcloth to do my skin care routine without ruining my washcloths. The Burts Bee pads are not oily and are moist without being overly saturated. They have a very subtle pleasant scent. So they remove a large amount of eye makeup using just one pad, don't leave an oily mess on your face, have a light, refreshing scent and a great price! I just bought my 2nd of many makeup remover pads from Burts Bees.

Good for sensitive skin

Works well on my sensitive skin, great price, and will be perfect for travel. Burt's Bees is the only eye cream that doesn't irritate- so I was hopeful and not disappointed with these as well.

Burt's Bees brand is the best!

This is the best eye makeup remover I found. It removes about 90% of my waterproof mascara (Napoleon Waterproof). Other facial cleansers and makeup removers I have tried dont even make a dent in the Napoleon mascara.

Work well

I have sensitive skin and these don't irritate it. I use one pad a day to remove makeup from both eyes, but its usually just eyeliner and waterproof mascara. If you are wearing eyeshadow, you might need a pad for each eye.
