This was purchased as a gift and I've added colored pencils to go with. I can see you marketing in hospital gift shops and assisted living facilities if you go retail. The books are roughly what I expected. They are a bit smaller than the picture seems to imply. Not the 8 1/2" x 11" but 8.5" x 8.5" as the product description states. The paper is thicker thank other coloring book products that I have purchased, which is nice and may make them actually feasible to color with markers if i wanted to risk it. Images are printed on both sides of the page, maximizing the use of space given. To prevent color transfer, I would recommend putting a sheet between already colored pages. The book is bound and the pages aren't perforated, so you may want to take the book apart if you enjoy coloring on flat pages. Where Creatively Calm Studios really shines is with the additional online offer. You get one free image a week for a year sent to you through email. They also offer a subscription club which offers 5 additional pages and the opportunity to suggest what kind of designs you'd like to see as part of the subscription. You can print these pages as many times as you wish on paper of your choice which is great for trying different techniques and experimenting when you may be afraid to "mess up" a page from the book. They also provide a community for adult coloring book lovers with a facebook group and videos showcasing their designs and different coloring techniques.

RANK AMATEUR

I am an absolute rank amateur when it comers to the type of coloring offered by your books and have spent just a handful of hours experimenting with different sets of pencils, looking for the set that offers me a spectrum of hues that will produce nice results without overwhelming me with so many choices that I become stymied. I have worked with color on computers for years, familiar with working with Pantone colors in publications. This type of coloring doesn't restrict me to the "formula" approach so familiar, and necessary, in printed works. I'm at the starting point of the learning curve and won't be able to offer a meaningful critique for a long time.

ADULT COLORING BOOKS- CREATIVE FUN ADDICTING

My Dr. Suggested that I start coloring after thinking I had finally driven my Dr over the edge I asked for an explanation then he used the term "ADULT COLORING" Which then I thought ok now what have I gotten myself into????? Then he explained further (thank goodness) People do it to relieve stress calm down etc. Skeptical in fact almost laughing at him I said sure I'll try it---yeah right me coloring love me I have time let alone I couldn't keep it between the lines when I was younger great. Then one day a particular stressful one which turned into a night of not sleeping not being able to turn my mind off long enough to sleep I found myself purchasing a coloring book and a box of pencils. I found myself not only being lost in the creativity of putting colors together but also much calmer less stressed and even reducing my BP by a few points. Creatively Calm Studios Adult Coloring Books are by far the best I've purchased to date and I've purchased probably over 30 books. You'll love them!

More bang for your BUCK!

I love to color and draw in my spare time but good quality adult coloring books are expensive. I came across this set of three and was blown away at the price. I purchased all the available sets, they are terrific! It's a paper type book but made of "card" stock which makes it easy to display your finished work, mount if you want plus the firmness allows the books to stand upright for storing. Thank you!

Gift for 15 year old girl. She LOVED it.

The 15 year old girl I gave this to as a birthday present loved it. The pictures are really good quality, as is the paper. I think she'll get a lot of stress-reduction and satisfaction with this. I also bought her a set of pencils to use.

FUN TO COLOR!

These are great books to color. I bought all three editions of their books. So I have all 9 of their books. They are great fun. I really liked the fact that some design are simple and some are very intricate. This way you can work on something that doesn't take along time to do and some that you can come back later and finish if you wish. They all have great designs. I plan to purchase any more books they publish. My only wish....and this is a wish NOT a complaint: I wish high end coloring books companies would have the 2nd page blank. The reason why is that I like to give some of them I've finished away to friends. Or put them in a frame for my walls. Not easy to do if the other side has another drawing on it. I would pay more if a lot of the coloring book companies would do this. I also wish companies would make it so you can tear out the page easier. I wouldn't mind paying more if they could do that. I suppose I could order two of the same book twice, but I do have a budget to watch. Thank you for making these wonderful books

Gorgeous designs!

I learned to love coloring again during an extended hospital stay. I finally worked through all the books I was given by friends and was very pleased to see this three pack for such a great price! These designs are gorgeous and the paper works well even with felt tips. Even better, I let my two kids choose a book each and now we have fun coloring together!

I love coloring

I LOVE the adult coloring books, the paper is nice and thick the pages aren't course.. the only thing that I would like is if the paper were easier to take out of the book.
