Honestly I hate ironing and I hate it more when the ironing board is not right. I tried couple ironing boards and I hated it that they were not strong and stable enough that they kept shaking when I tried to iron. I am so happy that I finally found a pretty spectacular one. It makes ironing as painless as possible! It is very well built and well constructed. I loved the retractable shoulder wings, it makes everything so much easier! Thank God it is stable, it doesn't shake when I am ironing. And the size is perfect, you don't need to go back and forth when ironing something long. Its a very well designed and practical ironing board -- well worth the price.

By far this is the best ironing board I've ever used

Yup...game changer ironing board...at least for men's clothing. Dress shirts get done in about ONE THIRD the time. By far this is the best ironing board I've ever used. As for the handles for the little wings - yes, they can accidentally come off and send the spring shooting across the floor but there's a simple trick to avoiding that: Either put some heavy tape over the hole you can see the spring through, or cover it with your hand when you release it. And don't pull the release handle all the way out! Just pull it enough to get past the locking holes. In other words- be gentile with it there George of the Jungle!

A Professional Quality Ironing Board for Serious Ironing!

If you're serious about ironing, this is the ironing board for you. It's extra wide surface gives you a bigger surface to work on. Bigger is better. The retractable wings make it easy to iron shirts and blouses. The extra-wide base provides stability. If you have an advanced iron such as the Rowenta DG8520, this is a MUST. It accommodates the large profile of the iron steamer without sacrificing any of the ironing surface. An extra quality iron cover is included. When I received my ironing board, there was a defect in the ironing board cover. I called the company, they actually answered the phone and expedited a replacement ironing board cover to me. Their customer service is superior!

Excellent Ironing Board

I hate ironing. Have always had cheap ironing boards. Threw the last one out a year ago and bought a steamer. Frustratingly slow and end result is not very good. I decided that maybe if I had a good quality ironing board and a good iron I wouldn't hate ironing as much. This board is excellent. The side flaps make ironing much more convenient and the board has a firm, solid stance--a key feature. Wouldn't say I enjoy ironing now, but I am more focused on the end result, which is much better than before, than my displeasure at having to complete this chore. The board was delivered with a cracked iron platform. I contacted the company and they are sending me a new piece. Very easy to work with them and no issues at all getting a satisfactory resolution. Product and company are both highly recommended.

The Tiffany of Ironing Boards

My ironing board from the 1960s finally fell apart. It traveled with me in the military to many locations. I loved it because it was so sturdy. Now we come to this purchase. After much research I was looking for an ironing board that was sturdy, not rickety, practical and would last for many years. What a wonderful product. Expensive? Yes. But worth every penny. Great ironing surface-shirts are a breeze to iron. Great elevation for those with back problems. The iron rest is wonderful (since my old board always knocked the iron off to the floor). The TV remote holder is also a great little feature. Comes with extra ironing board cover too. The little wings on the end are interesting and useful for shirt ironing. The cover also is just right allowing for a very smooth surface for ironing. It is a heavy item because of the construction-I have moved my ironing location to compensate for this. But of course I wanted a sturdy one-it is that. Well, I could go on. Try it, you'll love it. And if you have a problem, ( I did not) their wonderful customer service will take care of it right away. Lastly, you can show off your new purchase to friends and family and impress them on your purchase.

Ironing and Me

The iron board is nice - but the cover I received has nothing to make it fit the board. I also purchased a new Rowenta Iron (Pro Edition). Can't wait to start ironing (and I don't even know how). :) Great customer service - they read my comment - contacted me - and sent me a new cover. It doesn't have a slip on either - so there is probably something I don't understand about ironing board covers or ironing. :) I'll send it back if you want me to.

A Step up from the Ordinary Ironing Board

Extremely stable and solid. Love the wide ironing surface. The wing extensions enable ironing of entire shirt backs in one shot. Unit has a wire extension at the end of the iron rest which is convenient place to hang your pressed clothes. Negatives: Wings fell off when first opened. I had to put them back together. Also, I have a steam generating iron and the iron rest is sagging under the weight of the water tank. I'd recommend this board as a step up from the ordinary ironing.

Good Ironing Board!

An excellent ironing board though a few things are a bit of a problem for me. The extra width is wonderful since I sew and quilt. The shoulder wings are wonderful when I iron my husband's shirts but a bit of an inconvenience when making clothing for small children. Little skirt tops and pants tops do not fit over the end of the board because of the flaps. I really appreciate the space at the end to place my iron and small tools I use when cutting and sewing. The guide on the end for the cord of the iron is a great idea that doesn't work well for me. All in all I really love this ironing board because it is so sturdy and who can complain about it arriving with a plain cover and a printed cover too!

not as expected for the price, better

I initially gave this a 2. There were 2 loose springs in the box with no apparent function and the shoulder wings were flimsy. After I posted my initial review I received a response with a Youtube video that demonstrated how to place the springs thereby eliminating the weak shoulder wings. This response came within a few hours of my review. This is outstanding customer service so I have no choice but to give this product 5 stars instead of the original 2 stars.
