Taking up counter space comparable to a loaf of bread, this is a cool, zero-hassle product that quickly grows 3 small, healthy organic plants at a time. My basil seeds (that came with the smart garden) started sprouting in less than 3 days. It's nice to have a few plants growing in the kitchen. It’s necessary with this product to keep it in a place where the 16 hours of fairly bright daily light won’t be too disruptive. Bonus: the 3-plant refills are only $9.95 now. Photos: day 2.5, day 11.5, and last 3 are days 13.5.

This was my first purchase from click and grow , which later on I went to buying the bigger one and gave this to my parents.

I'm a horrible person for keeping plants alive. I killed couple of ferns and even cactus that don't that much work. So when I saw these on sale I had to try. I never bought before because of the price and some friends have it and love it. I'm very happy with the buy! So far my plants are growing happily let's see when does it lasts! The only bad thing is that they sell only one type of herbs in a 3 package. I don't want to have 3 same herbs planted so I had to buy another pods and mix.

Easy to set up and use. Have had it about 3 weeks and all pots have sprouted nicely. I expect to have to add a light extension ( came with it ) in another week! I probably will buy a bigger one soon!

I bought this a few months ago and waited to get a full experience before I gave my feedback. Overall, it's not bad. My initial reasoning for purchasing the Click & Grow garden was because of the lack of sufficient light in my work office. So far I have grown Sweet Allyssums which grew rather fast. I saw sprouts in a matter of 2-3 days. It was really exciting to watch these little guys grow. I am now considering on transplanting them so I can start growing some herbs. I've noticed that over time the 'smart' soil gets a bit moldy from the moisture. I'm not sure if this is just an issue that I'm solely encountering or if this is an issue shared by others. Either way, it hasn't seemed to really affect the growth of the plant. (Sweet Alyssums) The App is okay. It's not necessary and is more supplemental to the Click and Grow than anything. It is helpful for reminding you when to water the garden and giving helpful little tips. You can also use it to track the growth of your plants with it's provided camera app and gallery. But when all is said and done, you could go without it. The garden isn't smart as far using digital technology, the app doesn't control the garden. The garden simply sustains itself with the water tank and the lamp. Taking care of the garden is pretty manageable. The tank will need to be refilled about every two weeks and the app will remind you when to water the plants. The lamp that helps grow the plants is on it's own timer, which can only be set when you plug in the garden. It would be nice to set a specific time on when the lamp turns on. The timer resets when you unplug it the garden and then will restart the cycle when you plug it back in. Overall it's been a great experience and I'm looking forward to growing more herbs and plants.

9 days in, and it’s working exactly as expected! The included basil pods germinated within a couple of days, and they’re all looking healthy and well on their way to becoming big lush plants. At regular price of about $100, it is honestly a bit expensive, but I purchased with a $30 off coupon, taking the sting out of the price tag. If you look at part of its value being for its aesthetic appeal, it’s worth it! The replacement pods.. well, they’re not cheap, but part of the reason I bought into this system is the germination guarantee when you use their pods (except for the experimentation ones since those take *your* seeds). It’s as ridiculously easy and foolproof as they promise! I haven’t had to contact support for any reason, but they do have a forum and a fairly active Facebook group, and they appear to be very responsive to users.

I got this for my mother, as she reallly likes to use fresh herbs in her recipes. When I gave it to her, I wasn’t even aware that the product actually comes with 3 pods of basil. This lets the user see a sort of “test run” if they want to continue using it or not. Click and grow also has a variety of flowers, herbs, and peppers. One can even grow wild strawberries if they want to.

So far so good! Very easy to set up. Cannot wait until my plants start growing. Would highly suggest to someone who like to grow plants. I got the wild strawberries. I put them in the first time instead of the basil that the kit came with. We will have to wait and see. Will post more pics once they get bigger. FYI the timer for the LED lights are fully on super bright when your plug it in they stay on solid for 16 hours and off completly dark for 8 hours. So I plugged it in at 7am and is on all day while I'm gone and the lights go off at 11pm so that my living room doesn't look like a space ship. The LEDs are really bright when it's black in the house and it's the only thing on in the living room. I'm taking time lapse photos with a go pro to make one big time lapse of the starwberries growth. Have not had to water it for over 2 weeks now but I like the keep the floater at the top to make sure it always has water. Get one now!!

This is the best present I've gotten for my self in quite a long time. I work in an office and can't keep the lights on long enough for traditional planters. Because this has 16 hours of daylight built in, I don't have to worry about the plants getting enough light. Watering the right amount is so easy. This system is so low maintenance and brings a spark of color and life to my office. I'm glad I got one of these systems.

I read a lot of C&G and Aerogarden reviews before buying this. I was really nervous after seeing some negative ones. It works fine, though. You put in pods and water and plants grow. Eventually they get too big and you have to transplant or eat them. Works as advertised, big water reservoir.
