Most of the other heavy duty corner vises similar to this for sale on amazon are way more expensive ($169.00 and up +++) This is a solid, heavy and square vise and can handle material up to 4 inches in diameter. On first inspection I am happy. I'm going to test it and if I have any issues I will edit and let you all know. I think these photos will give you guys good reference. If quality is confirmed after I weld with it I will be ordering 3 more...
I'm the owner of Wheat State welding LLC in Derby Kansas. I bought four of these clamps and I may very well buy some more. All I can say is they're absolutely awesome they do what they say they're going to do and they do it quite well. I have almost nothing bad to say about them except the items below. Their size is much bigger than they look like when you order them and they actually have more capacity than advertised. Although this is awesome it could do with a better screw and better hardware at the nut where the acme screw tightens up. There are some pretty loose manufacturing tolerance in there. It's not really a defect, but it would be great if these clamps were a little bit taller, like twice as much. I find that when clamping tubing more than about 2 in tall the tubing tends to lean off in weird directions.the bottom side is always a perfect fit but as you get towards the top it tends to lean away from the clamp pretty bad so then you end up there with a big pipe wrench or something trying to square your tubing to the other part to counteract the lien and then tack it together. All in all it's not a bad product and I think anybody that bought it and used it for its intended purpose would be completely thrilled with it. You can't beat it for the price. It looks like these are probably made from ductile iron and they actually have a machined finish on them definitely somebody squared them up and finish them with an end Mill and did a pretty fair job. I would have been happy to pay 60 or $70 for this clamp but for the $40 I paid for it anybody would get an awesome deal. And summary this is the clamp to buy if you need a corner clamp!
I recently purchased both 3” and 4”, as the title says Father & Son. Wow, these are beefy and with perfect angles. The 3” has a max capacity of 3 1/8” and the 4” has a max capacity of 4 5/8”. Two of the pics show the open end of the flat push nose, I put some tip dip (anti-spatter product) in this area -gotta think ahead to maintain your tools! Will recommend.
I really love this clamp! It is seems very heavy duty and well built. The angles are spot on and it can accommodate large and differently sized stock. The t handle and the screw seem a little under built, however this is just to hold things in place while you weld, not clamp down with herculean force! I don't foresee any issues, even with regular use. If they ever come back in stock I will be ordering the 4" model.
What else can I say at first impression this is amazing and at the price of $45 definitely a buy. I see some other clamps go up to $170. Clamp weighs around 25 pounds the opening which surprised me is 4.5 inches. If you have a long piece to clamp fron ground to where you place metal is 1.25 inches.
I used this clamp to join 20” 2x3 and 72” 3x2 rectangular steel together to make a T. I was able to clam and center the 3x2 perfectly. The cut on the 72” tube wasn’t perfect, but trusted the clamp and tacked/welded everything up. Measured with some calipers and measured 90.0 degrees.
Works as advertised. It firmly clamps 90 degree joints. The gates I made for horse stalls are perfectly square. Be aware that the smaller model will not allow 2 inch square tubing to pass through it.

Great welding clamp!
This is a fantastic clamp, especially for the price! it is designed for 90 degree clamping, but as all parts of the clamp pivot it works amazingly.

Gray-vity
Heavy enough I've used as a small vise to hold rods to cut with a grinder on the tailgate. Mine was gray, not blue.

Good quality.
This is a high quality, very heavy duty will not flex when tightening. Able to hold large objects.
