This knife block is a great size and is nice and heavy. It feels sturdy and can hole a lot of knives. It's nice, because we have some really cool knives we got on Amazon but they don't come in their own block, so with this we are able to have them stored safely and they're easy to grab!

This is awesome! Much prefer it to traditional knife blocks with slits. Only downside is it's very difficult to get serrated knives into.

This is my second one in 15 years! The first one, it was old and was hard to put the knifes in. Everything gets old and crickety lol. I painted it white to match my cabinets and its perfect and the knifes slide ride in! I definitely recommend! It holds a lot!

I've never bought a complete knife set. I've sort of built a collection over the years, adding or replacing when I can or need to. So I've never had a proper knife block. This thing replaced the 2 ugly thrift store blocks I've been using forever and then some. It holds scissors, my sharpening rod and every knife from the smallest paring knife to my big 10 inch santoku. I can organize them however I want as often as I want. I love it.

I love these knife blocks. I had a regular knife block before which came with knives, but none of my other knives had a home. They all lived in the drawer of death as we referred to it. I bought 2 of these, one for small knives and one for my large knives. We love it. And no more drawer of death! I think I will buy more in the future for wedding gifts. Everyone should have one.

We had another for a couple years prior to this one and the bamboo box was much thinner and cracked and eventually the entire side blew out. I think it had far too many plastic rods as well. I had clipped out a bunch and it still was overloaded by 8-12 knives. This new one seems much more solid and has much looser rods out of the box, with no modification it holds all our knives nicely.

I had another knife block like this one, but made by a different company. I liked the design, but the plastic strips it was filled with were packed too tightly and the bamboo box eventually split apart from the constant pressure from the added knives. I reluctantly ordered this one and was pleasantly surprised that it is loosely packed. All my knives fit in it, and they slide in and out easily. I’m very happy with it.

The whole product is very simple, and easy to take apart to clean. The middle section simply slides out and you can put it in the dishwasher. much better and more sanitary than classic wooden knife blocks that can collect grime and dirt.

This is my favorite knife holder, give them for gifts, and have had people tell me they were surprised at how well these work. Better than a slotted wood stand in every respect. Clean easily, just turn it upside down and drop out the plastic insert for cleaning. My original is at least 10 years old, still as good as new.

I have another, similar, but smaller knife holder, so I'm used to using one of these. This one, however, is far superior to my other one. It is much larger, heavy and sturdy, and looks great. The only drawback to these is that, as far as I know, none of them take knives longer than 6-8". If you use large knives, this won't work for you.
