Ok for a temp recorder, just no full time display.

It's compatible with my MacOS 10.14.2 laptop. No bugs either - I made a few changes (turn off logging and enable button stop/start, change to F from C) and they showed up in the device after I hit Save on the laptop. Note: The download file description is deceptive: for USB interface, you do not need to load the driver (an odd thing on a Mac anyway). Just run the app, and it finds and talks with the device. It may require that driver for serial interface, but that's not what I needed anyway. I would definitely buy again. I'm a HW/SW engineer, always impressed by good performance and trouble-free software - especially at a very fair price. It worked immediately

works great, plastic is kinda cheap

This thing is great! I was fairly easy to use and set up. It is giving me all the information I wanted and more. The plastic seems a little weak, and the battery compartment could close better. Over all a good value for me. I have been using it for getting data on my fridge, freezer, and deep freezer. It has let me set them to the proper temperature and save energy. I have also been testing ways to pre-chill my cooler/ice chest, and my work lunch pail to see the temps. Over all it works as intended, no complaints, I would recommend this thermometer!

For the price, you can’t beat this. It did everything I needed. The software/setup was not that bad like I was expecting.

Simple device, great customer service

The device is inexpensive and does what you'd expect for the price. Everything seems to be accurate and the software, while simple, is useful. Customer service is phenomenal. I received this on a Friday afternoon and decided to download the software form the site instead of installing from the CD. After installing, the software would not recognize the device. I emailed support thinking I won't hear from them until next week, maybe not at all. I almost processed the return with Amazon. Before I got that far, support sent me a the correct software and even called me to make sure I received it. Resolved in less than an hour on a Friday afternoon. Best response ever.

Indespensible tool for landlords

cheap - accurate - reliable - easy to use. The next time a tenant complains about temperature - put one of these in the apartment and quantify the problem.
