Love My Food Steamer

Our old steamer was not working so I decided to give this on a try. So glad I did because it has great features, like separate steam settings and the best part is the stainless steel.

Wow, You Truly Get What You Pay For

We used this for the first time last night and,, OMG, it was delicious. I love the fact that you can sync two different types of foods and have them finish at the same time. Everything was delicious. There will be a while of getting used to the setting and which times work best for our tastes and preferences, but that's to be expected. The stainless steel makes it very easy to clean up. It can't hold smells, even with fish or shrimp (which we cooked last night). The water reservoir seems to be huge and holds more than enough water for the entire cycle. I haven't tried using the whole tray as a single steamed item, but I'm looking forward to crab legs very soon. We had one of the $25 models for years, and it worked for a while and was relegated to the junk heap. It was awful to clean, and the smell was never quite gone. This is a whole different experience. And yes, you truly do "Get What You Pay For". No brainer.

I Absolutely Love This Breville Steamer!

I absolutely love this steamer! I have been following a very healthy way of eating and this steamer is wonderful for that. I use it almost every night to steam my healthy vegetables and it's so quick and easy to use and clean and fits so much more than most other steamers, plus it looks really nice on my counter, too. I can't say enough good things about this steamer. I highly recommend it.

Works extremely well...

I purchased one of the Steam Zone steamers and the first one sent worked only on one side. I had it exchanged with another unit that works perfectly. I steam vegetables a lot and this has been great for that. When I do Artichokes I slice them in half, put them on the steaming rack instead of the steam containers and put the large lid on. If I'm going to grill them I let them steam on high for 15 minutes. If I'm just steaming them to eat I let them go for about 20 to 22 minutes and they come out perfect. I have steamed whole fish with great success and am experimenting with other things to steam. So far it has worked flawlessly for me once I had the replacement model.

I can't say enough about this steamer. I spent a few days researching steamers and this one just made the most sense. We have made 4 meals in it now and are thrilled. The dual zone and sync feature are what put it over the top for me. Also, it is very easy to clean. Just put everything but the base in the dishwasher. Keep in mind it makes a slight noise when running and that is normal. We called their customer service and they were very helpful.

The second fastest food maker other than microwave

Pro: easy to clean. Super fast heat up. Smart device for babyfood steaming. Con: not found I don’t see where is the test strip for water hardness mentioned in the instruction.
