Used these to mount surf fishing rods on an exposed beam in my apartment. Works very well for the task, and have a couple extras I'm going to put outside to hang my bike on

These are certainly heavy duty hooks! The end that screws in is a nice long length to give the threads ample area to grab onto. These will hold all of my outdoor cords, pressure washing hoses and more out in the garage.

I use these to hang heavy yard equipment in my walk-thru crawl space (dry with good air flow) due to limited storage space in the garage. These heavy-duty hooks could be installed horizontally or vertically depending upon application. Simply pre-drill a pilot hole and manually install. These easily handle any piece of equipment I hang. The coated hooks prevent scratches on your equipment and is non-slip. High recommended these; much more economical than ones purchased at a sporting goods store.

Good solid construction with great pullout strength. Hung both of my bike from the ceiling with no problems. I don't like the idea of screwing directly into the roof trusses so I attached a 2x4 to the ceiling with heavy duty toggle bolts and then screwed the hooks into the 2x4.

Excellent way to hang out bikes in the garage. Easy to install and heavy duty.

No trouble holding the weight of a couple of terrible Walmart special overly heavy bikes that we break out when we have visitors and family and town. Got them off the floor and added space for the lawnmower and plenty of other garage refuse underneath them. The place almost feels empty with better storage. Used the other six for hanging tools and a ladder. They're beefy.

Used to get my bikes and ladder off the garage floor. Frees up quite a bit of space and I've even hung from one of these (screwed into a 2x4) to ensure their basic load capacity. Rubber coating is a good quality and so is the metal.

I was a little worried based on reviews they might be smaller tan expected but unless you have a full fat tire bike these hooks should work. I use them for my 29er as well as my adventure bike and seems to work great. Happy with the space they save as well as keeping the bikes from getting damaged. Not sure what I'll do with the extra hooks but I'm sure I'll find a spot for them.

Very sturdy. I drilled a small starter hole to start these. Don't think it would have self drilled without a place to start. Hooks are very sturdy, I can't imagine the weight that these can hold. You could hang off them no problem.

I used the hooks to hang up the bikes in the garage so l could make room to put my car in the garage.
