It took me a while (too long probably) to take the plunge and try these ear picks out. I guess I make a lot of earwax, and it always felt like q-tips were just making things worse. I had tried some other solutions like rinses but those seemed temporary. These on the other hand (with proper disinfecting equipment on-hand) can be used as frequently as you'd like with little hassle. I recommend getting some disposable sterile alcohol wipes to disinfect these before and after each use. The case they come in will keep other dust and dirt away from them. Using them the first few times does feel a little weird, but once you get the hang of it, your ears will likely feel cleaner and clearer than they have in a long time.

So, I have major ear problems and have to keep them cleaned on a regular basis. Meaning almost daily... These cleaners are a life saver and work awesome!! Just be very careful not to go to far or use pressure. If it hurts STOP

Excellent and well made

I am constantly dealing with excess ear wax. Qtips and other methods just compacted it until i couldn't hear. These let me actually pull the wax out. Gotta be super careful with them but they work. Made of good solid steel too.

Works for me

At first it's very alarming to stick something small and pointy in your ear and you have no idea what you're doing. But after a few days you start to understand how the tools really work. For folks like me, our ears produce too much ear wax and need to be cleaned out occasionally before a buildup occurs which affects the hearing. So this beats shoving a q-tip down your ear, using ear drops, or going to a ear specialist every day of the week.

I am a physician who does house calls exclusively. Most of my patients are in their 90's with a good number over 100 years old. Ear wax is often a reason for poorer hearing and I am always careful to make sure that it is not contributing to their problem. This set was delivered just as promised in a very timely manner. The quality is outstanding despite its low price, and the design of some of the curettes is perfect for helping me clear up ear canals with minimum risk to the tympanic membrane. I would have probably paid several fold for a similar product from one of the medical equipment suppliers and would have been less satisfied. A word of caution, however. You must know how to use curettes. You could cause irreparable damage if you are not careful.

I'm not sure why I never looked into these before. Q-tips have been my guilty go-to whenever ear clog and itch madness struck. I'll fully admit that shoving Q-tips in your ear is a bad idea. They push the was down in deeper. It's true. There's alway the finger scratch but access is limited and quite frankly, that just invites bacteria to get into your ears and cause an infection. My ears have always had some issue with sticky accumulation and maddening itch or stuffiness as a result. It took me about a week to figure out how to use these correctly. They do feel odd in your hand and even odder (at first) in your ear. Do be careful. Obviously this is metal. You can't be crazy and shove them into your ear carelessly. Once you get the hang of it, though, and proceeding with caution... It's a miracle. At last my ear is not in itchy misery. It's not clogged anymore. I also use the smallest sized one for my daughter who is an earwax factory toddler. She hated me trying to wipe her ears with a cloth or gently swipe the outer area with a baby safe Q-tip but these things? She's more than happy to let me clean her ears now.

When this set arrived, I thought how interesting. A six piece set of ear cleaning tools made of stainless steel in a hard box great for traveling...wow. The tools worked perfectly knowing you have to be careful when using them. They work extremely well. Recommended highly.

I havent found a really good ear digger/cleaning tool in a long time. This has got to be my favorite! There are 6 pieces and they're double ended and it comes in such a nice compact case. That way I wont lose any of them. And even if I did lose one, I would still have 5 more. My favorite is the spiral one since it makes my ears feel real nice and clean.
