Never had any problems with Pet Armor for my two kitties. They never had any reactions or anything. I'm sure just like people, every cat will react differently to chemicals. Thankfully my cats don't have bougie skin! As for the fleas, the first time I used this brand was because I found fleas on them (they were newly adopted kittens) and it worked. I did it for 3 months and bye bye fleas. Also vacuumed and treated the house just in case! Now I use it just to keep the fleas away - it is summer and I been working outside a lot so I don't want to bring in any unwanted visitors! Very good price and great product.

I switched to this from another generic product that worked well but wasn't lasting anywhere near as long as advertised (1-2 weeks instead of a month and then they'd come back with a grudge). I'm glad I tried this one next, It's been around 3 weeks and still no fleas to be found! I just ordered the dog one too. The only thing that worried me at first was that unlike the other one the fleas weren't instantly visibly dying.. But hey, I don't like watching twitchy dying fleas crawl off of my cats anyway haha.

always order this for my cats.Used to get at Walmart, but find it is cheaper at amazon. I live in the woods with a lot of deer and a lot of ticks. I find very few if any ticks on them. Would definitely recommend this product.

Although my cats are indoor only, our yard was terrible this year for fleas. Hubby is a dog groomer so he brings them home too. I treated the areas I could but have to be careful with pesticides because we keep several insectivores and their prey. Long story short, the cats got a few fleas that turned into a lot quick. Used Capguard to kill everything on the cats and then this a few days later (shipping delay or I would have used it in conjunction). Two weeks later and just combed through all 4 cats and only found 2 fleas. Considering there is always going to be the occasional flea coming in on the hubby, I am very pleased with this.

I have two cats. Brother and sister, both spayed and neutered. They were inside only cats. Charlie was beginning to make it impossible to open the door in an attempt to get outside. Because I knew it was bound to happen I started reasearching everything for flea and tick control. I started out with the flea and tick collars, Charlie started foaming at the mouth and Chloe was incoherent. I removed them immediately and decided they would be inside only. About 6 months later I gave in again and started using this brand- pet armor plus. I put it on both of them. Super simple process. I've been using this for 4 months and I have never seen any fleas on either one of them. I have never seen a tick on Charlie. I have found 4 ticks on Chloe, but they're not attached. I think the key with this is prevention. I also think, if your pet is infested maybe take another approach, and then use this after to maintain. Just my experience.

I have used this product before and it is just as good as the more expensive brands ~ and better priced!

We've been using this for a couple of years and are satisfied. Be advised that with any product, fleas are going to adapt, so every 2-3 months we use PetArmor's Advanced 2 (Advantage II). The problem with Advanced 2 / Advantage II is that it doesn't control ticks, so we don't use it longer than a month. And if you're not happy, their money back guarantee says it all, from their web site: We guarantee PetArmor flea and tick products will kill adult fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. If for any reason you’re not satisfied with any PetArmor product, we’ll gladly provide you with a refund. Just call us and mail proof of purchase of your PetArmor product. Because your pet is our priority.

This one being effective against both fleas & ticks covers my 2 cats for 3 months, & I'll get another then to cover the remainder of the summer. Far more affordable than the name-brand option costing 3x more.

Used to use other brand name. Got 8 cats, and this is much cheaper. 1 cat had tick (eweee) on ear, put on the pet armor and within a hour the tick was gone and my cats stopped scratching (fleas).

Worked great. Easy to apply and it seems to work.
