I have used this in the past and found it very effective. I live in a wooded area where there is an abundance of ticks just lurking in the bushes awaiting to jump onto my dog as we walk through the woods on a cleared path. No evidence of ticks for the last six months on my hound. A couple on me but I notice them immediately. The price is great compared to other offerings with same ingredients. I assume the chemistry of dogs differ from species to species but for my dog of questionable heritage it works great!

I used Frontline for years and it worked well, but then they started jacking up the price and I started looking around for something else. Thankfully, I found this product which works just as well as Frontline for about half the price - why? Because it is EXACTLY the same thing. 9.8% fipronil for adult fleas and 8.8% (s)-methoprene for larvae and eggs. I have been using this product on 2 dogs and 1 cat, I live out in the country where lots of wild critters share their fleas with everything that moves and my animals have zero fleas and ticks year round. I highly recommend this product as a year round treatment.

This is a great deal! I run a rescue ranch and this product works fantastic on all types of dogs. This past summer it seem to last longer than the 4 week coverage period. I have been ordering this for the past year and haven't had any problems, even with some of our more sensitive skinned dogs

Went on easily, absorbed quickly, and had been very effective all month without any issues. We had been pulling a couple ticks off or did every week prior to application. I will definitely use this again!

Put this on my dog and 3 weeks later we went out in the country to play. I stayed in the short grass while she ran all over the place. When we got home I had 5+ ticks on me and she had 0.

Tried many different products with negative results. I went to my local pet supply store and got the 'natural organic' stuff and it made the fleas worse. This product worked wonderful on my dachshund. It didn't get rid of all the fleas, but his scratching went from all day to a few minutes a day. Last bath produced about 4 or 5 fleas in the tub from well over 20 before application. He's much happier and his skin is clearing. Excellent price for what you get.

I have used Advantix for years but the fleas were exceptionally bad this year (Northern CA). It seemed like I was having to reapply every 3 weeks. We have a number of rescue dogs and it was getting really expensive. I searched other options and based on the reviews decided to try this. It works awesome. I have not had to reapply yet. Originally bought for the small dogs but then purchased for large outdoor dogs. Great experience across the board. Thanks everyone for the reviews.

This works every bit as well as the Frontline brand, for a fraction of the cost. We live in a rural area of northern Minnesota, with lots of forest and lakes. The ticks here are out of control, but this product works great on our two small dogs -- they haven't had a single tick all year! Now, if they could only make it for people.

After using Frontline Plus on my dogs for many years, I purchased PETARMOR Plus a year ago from a big box store when it was on available onine at a sale price. It has worked exactly like the name brand product that it was replacing so there was no reason to purchase another product and because Amazon gets this to me in two days at a reduced cost to boot, this is the product I'll continue purchasing. Unlike most people, I squeeze one tube of the liquid into an amber glass vial and measure out the amount needed for each dog according to the PETARMOR information for their weight. The amount of ingredients are the same proportionally in any of their dosage tubes, so I save a few dollars by using this approach. I do wear disposable gloves and dispose of the pipette I use for applications. This product is effective for us for long haired dogs of assorted sizes and has provoked no reactions other than eliminating ticks and fleas. I have very rarely found a dead tick on the floor if the landscapers have not shown up on schedule or we have been hiking in the woods, but I've yet to see a live tick or flea anywhere in the house. I consider this an excellent option at an affordable price and the dogs thank me daily by not scratching or biting at little critters on their skin. There is no expiration date on the box so I called the company to get that information. It is now June of 2018 and the box I received was manufactured on January 30, 2018. Per the customer service representative, it will remain fully effective for at least three years from that date.

This stuff has been working great for my Greyhound. It's a generic form of Frontline Plus.
