These look very nice and are smooth. The points are like most of my metal needles and I often need them sharper, especially in the smaller sizes, which is why I like that they sand easily to the sharpness that I prefer. I bought them to have a full set for gauging to know what size I might need to buy in a more expensive needle, but I am liking the bamboo and not seeing a need to use another kind of needle.

Cannot beat this price anywhere????? Love the way yarn slides over needles when knitting. I didn't like the fact that the end came loose, but I glued it back on and it's still serves it's purpose will refer other knitters to order.

good needles

Works well, kinda flexible. None broke yet though so they are durable enough. The thinnest ones are prone to wattage with heavier yarn though. Happy with them.

Great for beginners

I never thought I'd be able to knit, in fact I still don't think I can grasp it I only made a line of cast ons. But hey any progress is progress to me. These needles come in a variety of different sizes and are super comfortable to hold. The different sizes make it easy for you to choose how you want your project to come out and what yarn you use. I bought this set with the intent on learning how to knit as you u can see that isn't going too well. I was looking for a wide range sized set of needles and these for the bill. They are smooth bamboo and the tips aren't splintery or sharp. Fantastic value! The very smallest of the set may break if you try to hulk snap it, but they don't feel too fragile.

I bought these to work on a Mohair hat pattern--I found I didn't have the right sized needles. I read the reviews, and decided to give these a go. I finished the hat, without a single snag, and used a larger pair to finish another (infinity scarf). No problems, with either project. Happy shopping!

Love them! Great purchase and can’t beat the price

Just got these and put them to work. I can’t believe that I have paid for one pair the price of all of these. I read the reviews and was skeptical to order. I don’t think people realize that the more you use the bamboo they will wax over and become even smoother due to the oil in your fingers and “slide” easier as they are used. Love them ! Great purchase and can’t beat the price. I would compare them to the pricier brand I purchased in the past.

High quality smooth and durable and eco friendly!

What a surprise! For the price these are high quality and eco friendly as they are constructed from bamboo. They are all perfectly smooth, seem durable and come individually pocketed per set. Each set is clearly marked with mm. I’m not a knitter, I am using them for jewelry making mandrels.
