First of all, I bought this for my husband who previously used an electric plug in blower. Key points: - This has awesome power - The battery life is very good, > 30 minutes consistently on maximum power/cruise control, likely > 1 hour on half power - The battery charge is incredibly fast. We haven't measured it, but guess about 20 minutes from empty to full. - Very easy to clean and maintain - Light weight. In general, he has thanked me so many times it is silly. What a great item. I did a ton of research before buying him this one. The company Greenworks is really something else. They seem to have the best mix between power and battery life possible. Would buy again for sure.

I am a 72 year old, arthritic old man, suffering with weakness and pain especially in my wrists and shoulders. I just completed my maiden trial of the Greenworks 580 CFM Blower. I am beaming from ear to ear! Not only is this tool light, comfortable, powerful, but gets the job done quickly and lasts Manufacturers stated run time. Purchased the chainsaw also. Both tools came with batteries and chargers. New I would want to have a backup battery. The battery also charged in a little over 30 minutes. Meanwhile I popped the other battery in and had some more fun! Great tool! Even blew the frozen leaves that were stuck in the grass! Long Live Greenworks.

I have been doing yard work a long time and used gas, electric and now battery operated and I have to give credit, this is very powerful for battery. I was not expecting anything major, but really surprised as things below 4-5 up in the air and all over and I was not trying for that. I have the smallest capacity batteries to keep the weight down and they lasted about what others say 20 minutes a little less if you use turbo constantly. I have 2 batteries and that was more than enough to do my front yard, 2 60' stone driveways and my rear porch. Very very happy and glad I bought this, was debating it for months until it went on sale for the "Deal of the Day".

so, I rolled the dice on this one with no reviews. Have not used it yet on leaves, but, it seems to have plenty of power and velocity. Turbo button gets you a decent amount of power, blew out the dirt and trash in the shop no problem. UPDATE Has plenty of power for leaves, pine needles, small rocks, whatever....quiet, clean, easy to use.

I purchased this as an upgrade to the prior version. I would say the flow is about the same (particularly if you carefully use a side cutter to remove the smallest screen bars on the rear air intake of the old version). However, it is still a satisfying upgrade because of the controls and greater battery capacity. The on/off button is gone, and the speed is easily regulated by the instant-on trigger and the turbo button. The turbo button must be held for greatest power, however, most purposes do not require full power. There is a "cruise control" lever too. It is easy to engage but awkward to disengage. The side/bottom intake ports prevent my shirt from getting sucked in as it does on the old model. I appreciate the two-piece nozzle. I often used the old model without, and the half nozzle is just right for blowing large volumes of loose leaves. As I mentioned in my review of the old model, this is at least as powerful as my old gas powered blower. Good work GreenWorks engineers! Very powerful and make me work so fast, there is no doubt it is good product and I will recommended it for my all friend. Love green work blower!

What a great purchase! No more gas fumes in my garage when blowing leaves out. So easy to use, just grab a battery off the charger click it in the end of the blower and you are off. Blow off my entire driveway, porch, and sidewalk every morning or so because it is so convenient and easy to use. This blower has made this years Fall clean up very easy so far. Thanks to the Greenworks team for such Great product.

I used to love my husqvarna 2 stroke blower, except for the exhaust. I often used it instead of the air compressor (blowing out dust from PCs, leaves from under the car, garage floor). Now I have the power of 2 stroke blower without having to fire up an engine. This is perfect for blowing out the garage, miter saws, under hood of car, drying the kids powerwheels car when its been left in the rain (always), blowing water off a car after washing it, etc. I also use it for leaves :)

Bought this to used around the yard and garage clean out. Works like a champ. Has tons of airflow at high velocity. Easily blows all the heavy edger clippings down the street. Blows out the dust and leaves from my garage without a sweat. I used a Greenworks Trimmer with the lawn edger attachment to edge my property which has about 260 feet of curb. Then, using the same battery, I blew all the clippings from one end of the property to the other, blew off the sidewalk, and then blew out my entire garage from dust and a winters worth of piled up leaves and crap. I barely caused the battery to drop one level on the power meter.

First off, this is a fantastic blower. The power and run times are (IMO) amazing for a battery operated unit. That said, I almost gave this four stars because I prefer their less expensive GreenWorks Pro GBL80320 80V 125 MPH - 500CFM Cordless Blower, but that only comes down to how they implemented certain things. You may actually like this model better depending on how you use it. Performance-wise, it really is a great blower and deserving of five stars. I do highly suggest that you check out the GBL80320, though, as it is currently about $75 cheaper and darn near as powerful as this model. Down below, I list the differences between the two models to hopefully help you choose between them - but I think either one of them should definitely be in your list of blowers to consider. They are pretty amazing. I bought my first blower about 17 years ago when I bought my house here in Tucson. I have a rock yard with mesquite trees and other bushes, and the rocks/driveway/sidewalk get absolutely covered in pollen and small leaves at times in the year. A lawn vac does a better job of cleaning and I went that route for years, but I get totally covered in dirt when using a vac, and they are harder to lug around. A blower does a decent job while leaving me relatively clean. I hate gas blowers (get to listen to the pros use them at neighbors homes and hate the loud noise and smell) and have been using corded blowers, mostly from Black and Decker. However, it takes me a good five minutes or more just to get the cords out and plugged in to get ready to start, and then the cords sometimes get in the way and usually make me backtrack around bushes. I avoided battery-powered blowers for years because of reviews saying they were under-powered and/or had super short run times. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the GBL80320 about four months ago because of great reviews, and it just amazed me. It's stunning. Powerful, quiet, and it runs for a decently long time. The 80V batteries also charge back up quickly, taking about 30 minutes to fully charge. This BL80L00 shares many of those fantastic qualities. Both models are significantly quieter than my corded blowers, and compared to gas - forget about it. This thing is quieter as I'm holding it than the gas blower the landscaper uses when he's half a block away. I close the window when ever the landscapers are in the neighborhood, and without exception I wear ear protection with my corded blowers. I was so excited last Spring when the 80320 showed up that I started using it right away and didn't notice for about five minutes that I wasn't wearing ear protection at all. I've spent the past two days with this newer BL80L00 blowing off both my front and back yards, and I've never once felt like I needed ear protection. Granted, this new model gets louder than I really like on "turbo" mode, but I don't use that very often. Performance is plenty good for me on both models. On fairly low and quiet air flow, they make quick work of pollen and tree litter on concrete such as my driveway and sidewalk - soooo much faster and easier than sweeping like I've done for years, and quiet enough that I can do it before I leave for work and not be "that guy" who wakes up the neighborhood. On medium flow, it works great blowing off the rocks in my main yard. It's so powerful on medium that (like my other blowers) I need to be careful not to blow the rocks around. On high...well, I hardly ever go there because it's so strong, but I think that you'll be pleased. I was pretty stunned at the air flow on high, and it can force my arm backwards if I don't prepare for it. Run times are very impressive using my 2A battery. While I've never timed myself, I've blown off my yard many times with the 80320 and twice now with the BL80L00. I usually use them for about 20 minutes at a time, and the battery still shows two out of the three indicator lights. I tend to keep my times short even with corded units because I don't want to be "that" guy, the noisy neighbor who ruins every Saturday morning for folks. The ease of use is simply amazing compared to my corded models. Before work, I can just grab it, walk out to spend about a minute blowing off the driveway and sidewalk, and set it back down in my garage. Done. The fact that it's faster to use this than to grab my broom is fantastic to me. This is my sixth GreenWorks product, and I'm overall pretty happy with them. I have an 80V battery already, but when I bought my 80320, I almost bought the one with the battery anyway because I thought that I'd need more run time and would want a spare battery, but I haven't come close to needing another one. If you already have one of their 80V batteries, even the 2A one, I suggest getting this (or the 80320) and not another battery to start to check if you'd want any more run time than you already get. Plus, if you already have one of those batteries, you know that they charge up pretty fast. I also have a BLACK+DECKER LSW60C 60V Max Power Boost Blower. I highly recommend that you don't even bother with that one. Yes, it's less expensive - for a reason. It's louder and less powerful. I was really disappointed in it. My review for the 80320 described it quite simply as "superb." I love it. I started researching this BL80L00 blower back in August when I came across it while checking if GreenWorks had started selling an 80V lawn vac (no luck on that, yet). I began wondering about the differences compared to the 80320, seeing as how this was new and cost quite a bit more. Here are the differences that I've noticed between this model and the older 80320: (*) The 80320 has an on/off button, so the trigger won't do anything until you turn it on. I prefer that because I have a tendency to depress the trigger when I grab the handle. This model has no on/off button, so the trigger will activate the blower as long as the battery is installed (*) The 80320 has three separate power settings (low, medium, high), and then you can further tailor the air flow by how much you depress the trigger. So, on "low," depressing the trigger all of the way will max out at a lower (and quieter) air flow. I like being able to fully depress the trigger while using it because it's a more comfortable grip for me. This model is essentially always on the "high" setting, and controlling the air flow is all done by trying to control how much you depress the trigger. I love the added settings on the 80320 (*) While this model has the "foot" underneath to have it sit flat, it will only sit flat if the battery is installed. Without the battery, it tips forwards on to the tube. The 80320 seems to always sit flat to me (*) Although it doesn't have the three settings, I will say that the trigger on this BL80L00 seems to have a longer travel and it is therefore easier to tailor the air flow with it. I still like the three settings better, but it's not too bad on this model (*) This model has a "cruise control" lever that essentially holds the trigger in a certain location, and the 80320 doesn't. While I give it a tentative win to this model on that feature, I do want to note that it isn't possible for me to grip the handle with all four fingers without having one up against the trigger - and the trigger still pushes in further even with that cruise control engaged. I found that gripping the handle with three fingers and keeping one finger off of the trigger made my hand/wrist begin to hurt after about five minutes (*) The air intake on the 80320 is on the very back face, whereas it is on both sides with this model. I give the win to this model. When using the 80320, the back face sometimes gets close to my shirt and pulls it up against the intake. I haven't had any issues with this model (*) The tube on the 80320 is one piece, and this one is two pieces (*) This model seems to have a metal ring on the front of the tube, probably to make it more robust is scraping things off the ground (*) The handle on this one is angled compared to the body, and the handle on the 80320 is parallel to the body. I didn't notice that while using them and just saw it in the photos, but perhaps that contributed to this one being less comfortable for me to use (*) This one is rated at 580 CFM at 145 MPH, whereas the 80320 is rated at 500 CFM at 125 MPH. Both are powerful enough for me, but this one is more powerful (on paper, anyway...they're both really powerful on high) For me, the 80320 is just ergonomically better with the three power settings that let me fully depress the trigger and still get lower air flow. Some may prefer the cruise control lever on this model, though. I highly (HIGHLY) recommend the 80320 and consider it one of my best lawn care purchases ever. If you prefer the features on this model, I really don't think that you'll be upset that you got it. The power is amazing. If you have any questions about either model, please feel free to leave a comment and I'll respond as soon as I can. Thanks!
