Bought this for recent trip to Europe most of the trip was on a cruise ship and no adapter was necessary but we ended with several days in Berlin. Used this to keep all our electronics charged Tablets, Phones, and charging camera batteries worked like a charm. Didn't need for hairdryers as hotel had them already and we don't use curling irons etc.

Love this product. I am in Europe now and it has worked like a dream in our rooms and on trains. It fits tightly into sockets and charges really fast. Someone’s review stated that the UBS was on the bottom when they were charging. We haven’t had an issue when that occurred and in Rome it was on the side. I can’t wait to use the other one we bought for the UK.

Have now used this in Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Germany, and Switzerland -- worked great, no problems whatsoever. It's also relatively compact, the build quality is good, and I like the fact that I don't have to fiddle with bits and pieces. Highly recommended.

I had a death in the family and had to go to Europe with my mother. I got one of these and it was perfect. My mom has her own that she got from target (it has almost all international plugs and is very complex to get the correct one). We only used mine the whole trip. The dual USB charger was perfect for our phones and iPad. I used the actual plug for my hair straightener and it worked perfectly. No issues whatsoever.

Works fine, but seemed to have an issue charging my Nook tablet via the USB port. Other than that, it worked great. I was able to charge my phone and power my laptop simultaneously during a recent trip to Italy.

[UPDATE: Used it on my trip to France. It worked great. Good, sturdy product.] I bought this for an upcoming trip, so right now, I cannot tell you how well it works (until I have tried it on the foreign country's electrical outlets). However, it appears to be very well-made, very solidly constructed of hard thick plastic. The pins are well-set/attached into the adapter - not at all loose. (I will update this product review after I have actually used the adapter durifng my travels).

The two built-in USB charging ports mean that I could charge my phone, power bank, tablet-thru-powerbank, and laptop all at once. I saved space by leaving two wall adapters at home. This device does not convert to 120V! However most mobile electronics these days can take a 240V input. Read the very fine print on the laptop battery charger housing, for example, and find where it reads INPUT. If you see the voltage of 120 and another number like 240 VAC then you're safe and your device probably won't smoke and sizzle.

I bought two of these for our two week trip to Italy. They worked in every hotel, the Italy airport and the Italy trains. These also fit into the outlets on the Norwegian Airlines premium seats on our international flights (not sure about the economy seats but those are usually equipped with outlets these days). The USB ports worked like a charm and charge fast. It’s nice having two USB charging ports on each one. We also used these to power high wattage devices such as a hand steamer and curling iron. These are made from extremely durable plastic. Overall they are very high quality and I recommend them for travel to Italy or any other country with this type of outlet.

I bought 2 of the adapters, one 2 prong and one 3 prong. I use both every night on a recent trip to Israel and had no problems at all. The 2 prong I used every night with a CPAP machine and the 3 prong I used for charging phones, headset etc. All worked great. The only suggestion I have is to increase the output of the usb outlets so the charging could be faster, but it was no problem since I could just plug in the Samsung charger into the regular plug. Glad I bought them and would recommend to a friend.

We bought this for use on our cruise ship. This adapter gave us an extra USB connector, because cruise ships have a very limited number of electrical outlets in the staterooms. Keep in mind that this is an adaptor and not a convertor. If you use an electrical appliance (blow dryer) in the European Electrical Outlet, the appliance must be dual (US/European)capable.
