I go through choppers like this bi yearly. I use them a lot and most won't hold up. I'd never purchased one made by Black and Decker before but since they made my power drill, I figured I would give it a try. Hasn't broken yet and I've had this one a little less than a year. It is efficient and easy to clean. I don't know what else you would want or need in a chopper. Mostly, my concern has always been whether it would get perfectly clean, even in the dishwasher.

I found it awesome,I had an old one and the turning thing broke and it was a bit smaller but I make my delicious Caesar dressing in it.I glued it but it let go after several attempts. So I looked for another one but to no prevail I could not find one until I saw this one on Amazon.I bought it and when it arrived I crossed my fingers hoping it would work the same as my little black n decker.( I have two other small choppers but somehow they would not make my Caesar dressing because they would not blend as good and didn’t cream the ingredients fast enough to make my dressing thick)Anyway I put my ingredients into this chopper and low and behold I got the same results as my older broken black n decker!! I jumped for joy for if I could not make my delicious Caesar salad dressing we would of been so disappointed ( my husband loves this dressing.) I would recommend this little unit to everyone who’s looking for a little powerful unit!! Thank you so much.

Was excited to find this - I have look quite a while for a replacement for a very similar Black & Decker chopper - like this - my son - who is now 40 bought for me with his own money when he was 10 - it is still working but I use it so much I wanted to find a replacement in case it died. So hopefully this one will last me as long as the first one has! I haven't been able to find this in stores - so was very happy to find online.

I am really eyeing for one like this! As a mother who loves to cook I want everything to be easy to help me consume and manage my time at its best. This one arrived today and I just can't wait to use it! The price and brand attracts me more, I even save it for later in case it may change price, and so it does. I plugged it, the button is so easy to use, don't forget to wash it before the first use. AND BLADES ARE TOO SHARP! PLEASE BE CAREFUL! I just hope they include an extra blades, but since its too sharp, I guess it will last longer! I would love to give one of this for my mom!

This tiny food processor is just what my kitchen needed. There are only two of us in the house and frequently I want to chop a little bit of something. without dragging out the large processor. I've already used it a few times and am so happy with the results. Tonight's garlic and basil and mayo sauce was just the right amount for the two of us. It seems strong and it is quick. Plus it takes up a very small amount of space.

My old glass one broke, i loved it and thought it could not be replaced. This is very small, but I make Indian food and need to chop garlic and peppers several times a week, this actually does a better job than my old one for that. I cant do large batches or soups, but great for small food prep. Easy to put together and clean. Small appliance, so needs less storage, a big plus.

My grandmother gave me one of these years and years ago when I had my first apartment, I think. She was a wise woman when it came to all things kitchen. I inherited all of her kitchen things. :-) Her one suggestion was to always put the plastic cover back on the plug-in prongs after cleaning. I still do that. This is great for smaller chopping needs when you don't have to lug out the big food processer. I've even used this for larger jobs, only use it for several choppings in a row. There are 2 of us here, and we rarely eat the same things. I don't have the need for my huge processor very often, so I keep this on top of the refrigerator. It is small and takes up very little space. This is easy to clean, chops from chunky to fine depending on how long you run it. My other one has lasted over 20 years and I only purchased a new one because I cracked the plastic base. It still worked, but I was afraid the crack would spread and I would need a new one. I am still using the old one, but I have this new one on hand in case I need it. So, it works even when broken. How's that for a good product? I was thrilled to find that they still make these. This would be a great little addition to wedding gifts, dorm gifts, apartment gifts, housewarming gifts, friend or family gifts.

I don’t know how I survived in the kitchen without this. I use it everyday to chop up basically anything and everything in the kitchen. Its small size makes me more willing to use it because the clean up is so easy. I actually also use it to chop up my one year olds Foods- my baby bullet broke on me right after the one year warranty went out. This is a great value for the time is saves me in the kitchen.

This is my second little chopper from Black and Decker. The first one chopped away for years doing everything from coffee beans to onions to nuts without a murmur of complaint. It was only after donkey years that I noticed one day that poor thing had become a merry-go-round for food, and concluded that no matter how much the food was enjoying the ride, its time had come, to go. Even so I kept it in the top closet of the kitchen for awhile just out of respect. I got a large clunky "Food Processor" that required moving things to get to and a jet engine mechanic to clean. It stayed in the cupboards between major holidays. Then I saw this one again and said, "I have Amazon Prime and I'm getting this!" (any excuse in a storm.) It arrived, I started chopping and guess what? It is every bit as good and maybe better than the one I retired! I love this machine. It can be top shelf dishwasher cleaned-but I don't wash stuff like this in the dishwasher-especially blades-your bladed things will last much longer if done by hand, dried immediately and put away. I don't have any cons for this chopper-it is one of those things that does not need to be changed. The size is right, the blades are sharp the power is perfect and it really does the job. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
