Works Well

I very much like that this set does not have the shaft running down the center of the container. The grind size variation is easily controlled and I am fond of it's ability to turn salt into powder. Very easy to re-fill without that annoying shaft. They are very attractive and fit in the hand well. My favorite grinding set so far.

Good for grinding my sea salt

We have been using sea salt, which seems to be a much larger crystal than the plain old salt-so it would not shake out of my regular salt-shakers. This set was purchased to sit on the back of my stove for cooking and works very well to grind the salt and peppercorns. They are sleek and attractive and the larger size means I don't have to fill them constantly. (I got a smaller set to keep on our dining table.) This was a good purchase and we are enjoying them.

Great Salt and Pepper shakers

Great Salt and Pepper shakers! They feel nice in your hand and look great aesthetically. The different settings for how course you would like your salt and pepper is awesome as well. Very good product definitely recommend buying!

I have not yet used the product but it arrived on time and appears to be well made. The containers are clear glass with stainless top mounted grinders, the grind mechanism is ceramic and shows a tension knob on top that adjusts to vary the grind from coarse to fine. A stainless cap covers the mechanism when not in use for neat storage. Some similar models have a 5 click gated adjustment system which may be a more stable adjustment design but I will have to reserve opinion on that until I get some time and use in with this model. The product comes with a funnel for refilling. It is finished well and suitable for table or kitchen. I will update the review after using it for a while since some similar products have reported problems with the grinding mechanism. EC Brands appears to be a customer focused and customer friendly company that strives to make your purchase experience a good one so you should expect support if you should have a problem. At this price point it appears to offer a good value for the money

Amazing Grinders - Horrible Shipping

I want to be VERY clear with the review. My five stars is for the QUALITY of the PRODUCT, but NOT the quality of the SHIPPING. I'm not going to downgrade this product listing just because I received just about the worst shipped package I'd ever had (pictures included). Anyway, as far as the grinders go (miraculous that they work considering the shipping conundrum), they're excellent. While, in my head I expected there to be more of a difference between the coarseness of each grind as I'd adjust the grinder, I realized that it not being that great didn't impact my experience with the grinder massively. Now, this is just MY personal experience with this. If you're looking for a mill or grinders that will give you noticeable differences in their grinds, then these grinders won't be for you. That, really, is the only negative. As far as the positives, I really, really like how finely ground both my Himalayan Pink Salt and my White Peppercorns are handled in these grinders. On the finest squeeze, when I grind the salt it comes out even finer than being granulated. It's so fine that it's powdery - literally powdered salt. I'd never seen experienced this fineness of a grind on salt before, and I never thought I would love it as much as I do. It makes doing a pinch of salt even easier because due to the powdery form, you actually have even more control over the amount of salt you're actually using. At it's most corse gauge, the salt and better come out granulated. The pepper does come out a BIT coarse (as desired), but I would have expected it to be even more coarse than what it's most coarse level is. Either way, I do love these products but please, please, please be aware of the buyer you are selecting.

Works awesome. Looks great

I considered not writing a review because I knew what I was gonna say would sound like a sham, but I only have one problem with this set. I overseason my food now, because this grinder works better than my other salt grinder. My other salt grinder got clogged almost immediately after getting it. Its 10 years old now and frequently had to be cleaned, but still only dispensed a little salt for a lot of effort. This salt grinder grinds the salt finely, but it puts out a lot of salt at one time, so I'm inadvertently using more salt than I normally would. When I get used to it, I'm sure I'll have no complaints. As a pepper mill, it works the same as my old one did, so no complaints there, plus it's obviously easier to see pepper being added. This set looks good, and its tall so it won't need to be refilled as often. I'm really pleased with these products.

Quality product for a great price

These work great - they're easy to take apart and clean, the dial allowing you to adjust the grind is wonderful, and the product is sturdy. Only downside thus far was that they smelled terrible when I originally opened them. I took them apart immediately to wash in hot, soapy water and the smell went away after that. They've become our new go-to in the kitchen and it's a much more economical way to have freshly ground peppercorn or sea salt without having to buy those mini McCormick grinders all the time.

Just how I hoped they would be!

Arrived exactly as described and in perfect condition. These were bigger than I thought which was a nice surprise. My favorite part is being able to adjust how fine the salt and pepper is ground. I can leave it coarse for my steaks and then change it to fine for my fries. Highly reccomended if you're looking for a versatile grinder with a modern look.

Well Nice Looking and It Works!

I use one for salt and one for black peppercorns. What I like is first of all a lifetime warranty! And the grind is adjustable as you'd expect, but it is a better quality of adjustment than I am used to with the many mills I've had to throw away. In case you haven't paid attention disposable grinders are the rage nowadays. I hate them. The one thing I didn't like too much is that if you're cooking you're likely to get them greasy or dirty and then you can't hold it well and then it's a bit of a chore to clean and then it's damp and you can't hold it... Oh wait one more thing. I love and hate the caps on them. They are a pain once you remove them -- where do you put them?? And my housemates keep filling them partially with ground up pepper or salt and when I remove the cap and go to grind, I end up dumping a lot of pre-ground matter into whatever I'm cooking or eating,... But they are nice looking, feel good in the hand, do a fine job of grinding (pun intended), and seem to be lasting. So I think I probably just need to bury the housemates where the bodies won't be found and have these mills all to myself... Aww just kidding, I love my housemates more than these grinders. I can manage with both.

Great salt and pepper mills - work very well and reasonably priced

We've been using our new grinders for a few weeks now, and we are very happy with their quality and ability to adjust the coarseness of the grind. We also are happy with the company's customer service--when we discovered that a small plastic o-ring had gone missing from one of the grinders after we cleaned them for the first time, we contacted the company through Amazon and they shipped out a replacement part the same day. Very happy with the purchase.
