Don’t think about it and just buy it! I have been wanting a night light / night time lamp hybrid for a while but couldn’t find one that suited my needs. This works exactly as expected and described. I am currently using this for late night diaper changes and plan to use it as part of a nighttime routine for my baby. But this has so many other practical applications around the house or even outside. This light is beyond a basic kids night light. The warranty (if you register the product) is outstanding. I plan to buy a second one of this or the newer donut-shaped version - one to keep on my nightstand in my bedroom near the baby’s bassinet and one for the baby’s nursery where we do our diaper changes. I highly recommend this for any new moms, kids, baby shower gift, or for someone who just wants a night light that is adjustable, mobile, rechargeable and beyond the basic “plug in an outlet” night light.

Very nice nightlight!

I love this nightlight. I wish that I had more of them to keep in the bathrooms. 1. It is the perfect amount of glow for the nursery 2. It has adjustable brightness, so I've even used it as a quick flash light. 3. I love that the battery is rechargable, so I don't have to have another item with a cord in the nursery. 4. I love that it doesn't look like a "baby" light, so I can get use out of it for as long as it last. (To elaborate, it doesn't look like a baby elephant for something that you probably won't want to look at when the babies are grown.)

Great light, however it doesn't come with a wall ...

Great light, however it doesn't come with a wall charger, just a tiny little charger that you need to plug into a cube. I have to buy a wall charger separately. I am using it for my bedside and I don't want to mess with charging it every few days. Otherwise the light it's self is very impressive for the little size and it is nice that it is so portable. After using for a while I would like to add that the battery lasts weeks! I turn it on to feed and change my baby at night. It has never died before. I had it on vacation in Florida for 2 weeks and never had to charge it. A must have for every mom

I LOVE this nightlight!!!

I love love LOVE this nightlight!!! Whatever bright or dim light you are looking for this nightlight provides it. It is so easy to use and actually kind of fun since it is unique. I think the one piece of information that was not provided in the description that I was curious about was the energy source and what happens when it runs out--it came with a USB port/plug in order to recharge the internal battery. I have used it every night for a few minutes and have not yet needed to charge it after a month. I will definitely purchase this again for each of my children or recommend to others. I think this would make a great baby shower gift, or birthday present for any young child.

Love this nightlight!

The nightlight isn't as physically big as I thought it would be, but I love this thing. The touch feature works great for the dimmer and having the two different color lighting options is awesome. We use it to help with diaper changes for our 2 month old daughter. It provides enough light to change her, but not wake her up! And the fact that it has cute little face stickers just makes me laugh. The battery lasts a long time, and you can use a basic phone charger to charge it too. I'll be buying a few more for around the house! I've recommended it to friends. You won't regret it!

Great night light!

Love this nightlight! Use it at night when baby wakes up. Easy to use and I like how you can control how bright or dim you want it. It's also not too big and not too small, doesn't take a lot of room.

This little nightlight is one of the best purchases I made for bringing my newborn home. We roomed in with the baby and he obviously was up a lot at night to eat. I love that i didnt have to turn a bright light on to take care of my baby in my bedroom and wake my husband. I loved that you can easily adjust the brightness and color from warm to cool. I also love that it’s rechargeable and theres no need for batteries. If you use it very frequently you will need to charge often. Those first nights with baby being up so often I had to charge it everyday but now that baby gets up less at night I can go 2-3 days without charging. I strongly recommend! The size is also small and great too.

Better investment than a lot of the $$$ baby gear out there

With all the expensive baby gear out there, this is hands down one of our best investments. I get up a couple times to feed baby at night, and the light is dim enough to not completely wake me up. I like that I can make it brighter, though, when I'm really tired and want help staying awake but don't want to turn on my (much brighter) nightstand light. We use it for an hour or two a night and charge it once or twice a week, so it holds charge nicely, and I like that the light above the logo turns red when more charge is needed. It's also small, so it's portable (we'll take it when we travel) and light, so little hands can hold it; I hope it lasts for a few years, so our daughter can use it even when she's older. Last and least important thing: I like yellow light, and my husband likes white, so there's something for everyone. If my husband wakes up to soothe or change baby, he can choose the white light. If I get up to feed her, I can choose the yellow.

Excellent quality, but I'm returning it.

This is a GREAT nightlight and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it won't work for my purposes. I need a very dim light to stay on through the night in a bedroom, and even at the lowest brightness setting it's way too bright. Someone in another review said that they slept with it on, so i thought this would work, but it absolutely does not; it illuminates the room well enough for me to make out the pattern on my duvet and the artwork on the wall. It's much too bright!

Bright and portable

I bought two of these for my wife to use as a night light. We have areas of my house that either we don't have a light for, or the lights are too bright to turn on at night. This light was the answer to all. PROS: - Portable and light weight - You can change the light between bright or dim or even cool or warm. - Durable. I've dropped one down the stairs and it held up perfectly! - Long battery but you also can leave it plugged in. - Safe for kids. CONS: If I had to say one maybe a longer charger cable and maybe include a charging block. Luckily it's micro USB so I was able to use my phone chager. All in all it's a great light I'm glad I bought 2.
