Nice entry level wiring kit

For the price, this kit is nice. The quality is fine and I am getting absolutely no "engine noise" from my system using this kit, and that's one of the most important things to me. Make sure you do a good job attaching the ground wire, that's the one that messes a lot of first time installers up. If you install it on a painted part of the car, it may introduce noise. I always grind down the area I'm mounting the ground to, usually around a seat bolt or something fairly strong so it's a nice solid connection. All the connectors are fine, you will need a crimp tool or a pliers to crimp them. The RCA cables are pretty good quality, and the remote wire is small but works well. Fuse holder is nice, easy to connect and mount. I think the speaker wire is a little small if you are powering a subwoofer, but it works. You can double it up which effectively lowers the gauge by one level (every lower gauge is double the thickness of the previous gauge). This will help reduce resistance which puts less strain on your amp and can result in better sound with less distortion. Anyway, this is a good wiring kit. Price is nice, quality is fine. I'm happy with it.

This kit has it all, and I mean ALL! I only have two very small complaints, more comments. First, this item is obviously spun on a machine, because all the wires were layers, so when I took the package out and began removing wires, they were layered, and the layers separated. I ended up with a twisted heap of wires. Hopefully they'll change the packaging style to individually sealed wires, but, again, a minor complaint. Secondly, the kit includes a grommet for the hole in the firewall, but the overlapping g portion is minimal. I suggest going to the auto store and buying one with a wider flange. The kit installed easily, and the power cable was very flexible, despite its gauge. I'll be purchasing this kit again soon for my other car. WELL WORTH THE MEASLY $20

Awesome power package

Awesome power package, works great with my set up, which currently draws less than 100 amp rating, but it gives me more wiggle room to add something else or keep things as is and below it's maximum current handling rating. I have plenty of extra wire remaining from the kit for other projects as well. This kit worked for me others mileage may vary. I recommend this product.

Budget wiring kit

At first, judging by the price, I didn’t think this would be the greatest thing ever. But when I installed my system it had everything I needed and everything is good quality. Definitely recommend to anybody who is installing subs.

Goog kit, Made of good products, I'd have loved to have had another 2 or 3 feet of red wire but I got what I was told I was getting so that's not InstallGear's fault! REALLY WISH Amazon and InstallGear (maybe?) had a way of putting these amp kits together to get what all you need in one package but also being able to customize it. Like length of wire and RCA's or possibly adding a second fuse block or a distribution block, or a dist/fuse block LOL! Not sure how they'd do it but hey I'm not Amazon so I don't get paid for that! InstallGear packages quality products for these. definitely using them again! (in fact I specifically went to their page last night looking for *cough* RCA's and fuse or distribution/fuse block's... lol

Compares to Rockford fosgate wire

The one on the right is Rockford fosgate 4 gausge wire, seems lighter though, maybe different material but it's the same size

Great quality highly recommend thick wire

Was very skeptical about this because of the price but it's close to a very true 4 guage and good quality cables,connectors, rca, and wire I highly recommend this kit to anyone trying to push their system wit i have seen lots of different wires and this has to be the best 4 guage kit and price highley recomend

Looks good. Although it doea not show the Blue remote turn on wire, it does bring it in the package contents! All is good!

nice little kit

This is a nice little kit that features CCA power wire and all the connectors needed to install an amplifier in most vehicles. this will do the job for 90% of the people out there who do not care about CCA vs Copper wire. It does not get hot even when drawing power for 90A worth of amplifiers. Very flexible and easy to cut and prep for soldering. Holds solder well and the insulation is fairly thick,
