Perfect for Protecting Valuables from Moisture... easily recharged in oven (0.5 - 1 hr @ 220 degrees F). Use an oven - DON'T microwave them... if they get over 280 degrees (F), they lose their capability to absorb moisture.

They're pretty good for archiving books, but this silica gel definitely tells you that the place you're archiving your stuff has A LOT of humidity. But if you put these inside a bag with your stuff, it gets stored well with no humidity inside.

This item was purchased as a visual security measure for storing ammunition in military ammo cans. The cans function to prevent water and moisture from entering due to the rubber gasket seal. Purchased these due to their easy visual recognition that the cans contents remain dry based on color changes. Additionally, these units are rechargeable if moisture is up taken (per manufacturer) and can be reused.

I store my 3D printer filament in vacuum storage bags together with these packs. The silica packs recharge very well in a food dehydrator.

I use these to keep my shoes from smelling. Every day I get home from work or change shoes I throw 2-3 of these in per shoe and they change color so you know they're working! Feet don't smell anymore :) also help in a pinch whenever you spill something in your bag and need to make sure it gets dry!

Have some sensitive equipment stored in strong water tight cases. Cases work great, but sometimes when used the equipment gets wet. If you store damp equipment in a water tight case, you need these. Absorbs that moisture and changes color to prove it. Easily recharged in the microwave. Extremely please with this product. Cheaper by far than anything I found locally.

I’m very impressed with this product. Not only does it remove moisture but you know when it’s time to replace! And they’re reusable!! I’m using them for my freeze dried fruit containers. The kids constantly open the containers for their snacks so keeping humidity out of them is important so they don’t get moist and chewy.

I use these in small quantities mixed in with large quantities of ones that are not color-changing. That way I can easily know when to recharge them in the oven for a few hours. These work very well and, IMHO, are a much more pleasing color than ones that are green/brown color changing silica beds.

Do not store 3D printer filament without using these Every time. I have experienced issues with manufacturer's desiccant. Others are often bad when you receive the filament. Plus there is no indicator on their desiccant ...these let you know and are rechargeable pretty awesome! Even in a dry US state I still I'm shocked at how fast the color change is with some filament that I have already stored. After using this I have zero issues with 3D printer filament absorbing moisture :-)

Work as advertised, and easy to reuse. I stick mine in a dehydrator for a few hours until the dark blue color is back and they are ready to go again.
