Introduced to me by a liquid fertilizer seller. They buy it by the case and only need to use it on their equipment once. Seams to last for years. Gemplers is not even paying me.

Impressively good product and service

Works great, as advertised. Learned about it initially through a mailed Gempler catalog, then confirmed with a bunch of online reviews. It paints on, adheres to the underside of rusty objects, and turns them black as advertised. As instructed, multiple coats work even more thoroughly. From what I read, testing to look for return rust could take years. I'll be buying more. Gempler's fixed a shipping glitch admirably: when the Amazon delivery didn't work for some reason, they express-shipped the item so it arrived the next day, in time for me to test it on the Thanksgiving holiday. I'll be buying a lot more of it.

Have used several different times over the years, very stisfied.

This is a great product

We used Gempler's rust converter on some steel shipping containers prior to painting them with a high quality paint. I like water-soluble preparations and paints because of the easy cleanup, and Gempler's was easy to use and to cleanup after use. Our containers were not terribly rusty, but we had five guys on the job of scraping loose rust and applying the converter for a period of four hours. The project was three 20 foot containers and one 40 foot container, and a gallon of converter covered all the rust spots with a pint left over. This stuff is milk thin and one can watch it turn black as it converts the rust. In fact, that's how one knows it's working. We did a good job of pressure washing after that and then sprayed the shipping containers last summer. The paint is sticking well, no rust is bleeding through, and we're happy with Gempler's.

So good I bought a gallon after i went through a quart.

I first bought a quart of this trying to get my car passable; '02 Jeep Libertys are really not known for their ability to resist rusting. Especially the underside and especially as a winter car with all the salt and brine the city throws on the road. All I was looking for was something for the rocker panels and more on a lark I put some on the frame which was nearly orange with rust. I didn't even clean the frame, just dust and all. I checked the next morning and it was COMPLETELY black. I am finishing the rest of the underside with this stuff and onto my other car and my brother's (he didn't believe me until he saw it). I do not like to spray and this type is apply with a brush. Goes on easy and easy clean up with warm water...only (your skin is another story). Don't have enough good things to say.

Amazing rust protector

Amazing rust protector. With living on the ocean we have a problem with the salt water that promotes rust. This product has helped a lot. We can't get enough of it. We will but it again and again as needed because it really stops the rust process. We have used it under vehicles, on beams and anywhere rust gets to. Great stuff!
