Fun and interactive!!!
I decided to give this toy a try for my kids. The toy is well constructed yet still very light weight. Doesn't seem like there are small pieces that could fall off making it a choking hazard. It's nice that batteries are already included. The mushroom garden is easy to use but also comes with a manual to explain the different options/activities. There are a total of 4 different modes, which you select by pressing the blue button in the middle. The kids can learn to count numbers, identify colors, play music and play games. My kids are hooked on the mushroom garden. As with all toys, make sure to have a rotation of toys available as they can get bored with the same one over and over.

Great toddler toy!
This is a great buy for a toddler toy. It came in a well thought out box so it wouldn’t be damaged. I really appreciate it coming with batteries so little ones don’t have to wait. It has a pull tab so you know they’re new and you’re off and running! I also like that there are 2 different settings for the sound, since some toys are so loud. This one has a nice flat area where the sound comes from in case you wanted to put tape over it to make it even quieter, although I haven’t had to with this toy. My almost 2 year old girl loved this as soon as we opened it. She sat and played with it for over an hour, and has continued to pick it up and spend a good amount of time with it since. It has 4 settings-numbers, colors, music (keyboard + songs) and the star is questions to answer. My daughter probably won’t quite understand that part yet, but that means this toy won’t be obsolete to us in a few months. The colors are bright and accurate, and there are multiple layers to each mushroom button on most of the settings. It even asks if anybody is there after it isn’t touched for a minute and then again to keep your toddlers interest. It’s really light, so my daughter can tote it around the house with her no problem. The on/off switch isn’t right up top so my daughter isn’t constantly turning it on and off, which is nice. To get it to play songs, you tilt it, which took me a minute to figure out but it does tell you on the instructions. Overall I’d say this is a nice toy that will potentially last for a couple years, which is always great. I’m glad I got it!

Spinning mushrooms with music
This is a fun little toy we bought for our toddler. The bright colors, fun and playful buttons are some nice variation to the musical toy we are familiar with. The bottom is rounded not flat by design, allowed it to be spinned. That add some fun to our little one when the music is playing and he spins the toy and dances with the music. One minor complaint is one of the mushroom buttons came with a scratch, not a big concern for us knowing how rough our toddler plays, scratch will come sooner or later. We have this toy for about two weeks and do not notice any issue. The plastic used for this toy doesn’t feel cheap, it’s smooth for touch.

Fun and challenging toy.
My 4 years old loves this toy. It’s shape makes it more interactive since it rolls or spin when you touch it. It has 4 modes of play but my son’s favorite is the memory mode. It has a volume control and automatic shut off, that way if we forgot to turn it off we don’t hear it during the night while we’re sleeping.

So many fun options.
My son loves playing with this toy. The mushrooms are the perfect size for his small hands and he likes to pick the toy up by grabbing onto one of them. There are 4 modes of play which can be selected with the center button. Each mode does multiple things. I love how much variety this toy has and all of the learning aspects. It teaches numbers, colors, music and patterns. My favorite modes right now are when it works like a piano, each mushroom is like a piano key. And when it has you play a game to repeat the pattern of mushrooms that lit up. Very fun and will definitely grow with my son! This is a very well thought out toy!

but from what I saw my cousin loved it. He's special needs and really needs things ...
This was a gift, so I only saw a short time of interaction with it, but from what I saw my cousin loved it. He's special needs and really needs things that motivate touching & this seemed to do it.

Very cleverly designed and colorful
My granddaughter loves this item. She is only 8 months old and puts the mushrooms in her mouth for texture and than turns it upside down and bangs it on the floor so she hears all the sounds. I like the fact when a song is playing if she hit a mushroom it is like a key on a piano and she is adding onto the song. As a speech and language therapist, it is a safe toy that babies and toddlers can put in their mouth without the fear of sharp edges. My daughter-in-law and son of course think that it should stay at my house because it is always playing or talking asking "Is anybody there? Very happy with purchase!

Fun toy that grows with kiddo
Got as a gift for my 1 year old’s first birthday. As other reviews said, it comes with batteries for out if thr box play. We got a huge smile from my little one when he opened it. The games are still too advanced for him, but he loves pushing the buttons and ‘dancing’ to the songs. I didnt find the songs or voice of the person in the toy to be at all annoying (a good quality in toys hah), and volume is not too loud for me when on the low setting. Only improvements would be to be able to turn off the mode switching button when using with smaller kids. When he changes it to the games, he tends to loose interest quickly since he isn’t ready to play with it that way. This toy does also have an auto-shut off after two minutes of inactivity, but not before it calls out into the void “Is anybody there?” a few times. It makes me feel like this poor toy is having some kind of lonely existence, and annoys me a little that it distracts my kiddo when he has moved on. On the whole, great toy with fun lights, colors, sounds, and games that I think we should get several years out of! With a few improvents, I’d start giving this to everyone with a little kiddo.
