Freaking adorable. They are definitely for the petite kitties and I would highly recommend the large size even for small cats. My cat loves it (or more likely the attention he gets in it) while my other cat believes it is bringing down the apocalypse on his little kitty head. It really does make your cat look like a mini lion though and the pic ops are endless as are the aaaaaws and omgs.

I love it! My cat, Riley McCool,, actually let me put this on her and was patient while I got the camera ready and decided on the proper pose. So, this entire debacle lasted a few minutes, but I did get great photos and I got some braggin' rites, then Riley decided the party was over...but every minute was worth it and the photos are priceless! So, really, if you buy this, realize that your cat is not going to wear this for the day, most animals do not like to have anything covering their ears, their survival instincts are based on hearing, but your furry friend may oblige you with a few minutes of humor and then it is back to a reality check!

It brought out my cats' "Inner Lions!"

My tiger calico sisters, Peaches & Paprika actually wore it & it really WAS adorable! The softness of the costume was a nice surprise. To get them used to it, I put it near them for a while before trying it on so they were curious about it. They wouldn't wear it for long but even a minute or two is an accomplishment so I'm giving it a 5. The fit was fine: Peaches weighs 13 lbs & sister Paprika weighs 9 lbs. It fit them both because it was stretchy. I thought it looked beautiful with their colors. Like I said in the title, I'm sure it brought out their inner lion!!! I am going to display it on our FB page.

This is my all time favorite amazon purchase so far. Whomever came up with this is a genius! It arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to put on, easy to tighten without harm and it even came with a little tuft for the tail! The mane bugged her a bit at first, but she got used to it really quickly and soon became the center of attention :) This thing is amazing. BUY IT!

Very cute and fun!!

We bought it for our orange domestic but we ended up trying it on our puppy too. Both of them weren’t fans, but it was so cute!! Got really funny pictures and it was just fun in general to see them in it.

Adorable and well-made

I don't think I've ever laughed harder or taken more photos of my cat. It's a shame she hated it (she's quite nervous to begin with). It was very adorable, matched well with her orange fur, and fit her head nicely. The velcro on the strap is pretty large, so the mane would seem to fit a large range of pet heads.

It has been a goal of mine for so many years to get a lion mane for my orange tabby for Halloween. I was thrilled to finally do this (and he was not!) I bought a size large. I thought it would be too small, but it fit him perfectly. He is about 14 pounds, and is a little larger than the average cat.
