Very practical and affordable little mount

I secured my Nest camera to this mount and hung it in my house behind the curtain to view my outdoor activity. It works perfectly, balancing on the small gap in between the curtain rod and the wall. I re-adjusted my Nest camera to flip the image so that the view wasn't upside down, and I didn't have to run any cables outside. The nest plugs into my nearby outlet, and is hidden behind my curtains. The cables are secured with 3M adhesive clips so that they too are out of sight. Easy, peasey to set up an "outdoor" monitor from the inside of my house.

stick a phone anywhere

I used one of these shelves to stick a phone handset in my mom's bathroom. I put it up three months ago and it has been perfect. I poke at it every once in a while to see if it is still stable. (I did use three of the Command sticky strips because I always think more is better! You can always buy extra of those at just about any store.) These shelves are lightweight, small, and really good. There are longer versions of this type of shelf on Amazon, also.
