A great fry net, but measure carefully.

This is a great little net. The handle telescopes easily, and the mesh is perfect. Because of that I give it 5 stars. It does what it says and does it well. However, pay attention to the 'little'. Its exactly the size described but I didn't get out a ruler and actually see what that meant. Its perfect for fry, but its too small and shallow to easily catch even my larger mollies. That is totally my fault and not the fault of the product. My husband picked me up a bigger net without the telescoping handle and its size is much better, but it doesn't reach to the bottom of my 75 gallon tank. I would definitely buy one again, just much larger.

Great quality fish net for a small aquarium. I'm actually using mine for my very small pond to "fish" out leaves - pun intended.

Great tiny net.

Its a net and exactly as it was stated 4 inches. Lol not sure where I had the idea that 4 inches was bigger. So five stars. Its nothing special, but it does everything its supposed to. I did manage to get all the tadpoles out of my pond. It took awhile. Next time I'll get them before they hatch.

Perfect length for 55 gallon tank!

I have a turtle in a 55 gallon tank. I need to remove bits of uneaten food or droppings daily. A standard net required me to stick my arm in the water to reach anything on the bottom. This net is exactly what I was needing to be able to scoop items from the very bottom without having to put my arm in the tank to reach. I am very satisfied. The net is very fine & catches small food crumbs. The only "complaint" I have is that the handle can fill with water but that is probably unavoidable due to the mechanics of the telescoping feature.

Great Net

This is a great fish net. I was looking for a compact fish net that is extendable for my 24gal tank. My tank is a cube and is about 18" tall so I wanted a net that was long enough so that I wouldn't have to get my hands wet. So far this net is great. 4" net is smaller than I imagined. May upgrade to the 6" net.

Perfect!

I love this net. I can extend the handle to reach deep into my tall tank or leave it as is when using it in a 10 gallon guppy tank. It is large enough to hold any of my freshwater tropical fish and fine enough to capture guppy fry or tank debris. I certainly have not had the misfortune of a fish becoming snagged as one reviewer reported. I’ve used it several times in the weeks I’ve had it and it remains in perfect condition. I intend to order a couple more as I have multiple tanks. I think it’s a great product at a reasonable price.

This fish net is amazing!

I was so impressed by the quality of this fish net. It has a metal sturdy handle which can be extended all the way to 24 inches which is really helpful if you have a fish you need to remove for whatever reason but they are hanging out at the bottom of the tank. It is also helpful for moving around plants, rocks or whatever without having to put your arm in the water up to your elbow. I am so glad I ordered this and will get lots of use out of it.

Small, but good.

Great, small handy skimmer for our outside fish pond. We skim leaves, flowers and tadpoles out of the pond almost daily.
