Bought these to keep my nutrients numbers in check. Also bought calibrating solutions to keep the meters in check. For the price one may want to shy away. But I found these meters to be very accurate so far when checking the calibration. PPM's and pH monitoring is a must in any grow room. Nutrient lockout and ppm burn is very common in a un-metered grow. What looks like a deficiency could be and often is nutrient lockout. Keeping your feedings at a consistent level of pH and ppm's makes for a headache free grow. Your plants will love you for it.

I have been having issues with my PH level in my in ground pool to the point that the acidity level was soo high it stripped a layer of of my liner! I decided to try this so i know exactly where we stand and dont ever have that issue again. So far it is working well. For the i found if i put it directly in the pool the numbers changed too much. when i put some pool water in a cup and then tested it i was able to get a real read out. i can't say much on the TDS meter as i dont even know its for yet. I really wanted the PH meter and this seemed like a good deal.

From what I can tell, the bad reviews are normally due to improper use. These two meters by themselves are almost 5 stars in every other listing. Sadly, when used in combination, would be users (morons), mess it up and leave bad reviews. Bottom line: use de-ionized water; distilled water is somewhat acceptable and should work.

I love this pH pen... the instructions are very clear on how to calibrate it. Instructions are also clear about how to operate the pen. Would definitely recommend for anyone not looking to pay higher prices in the store.

For their price they are totally worth it. Its nice that they are different colors to help tell them apart in a glance. They read accurately and also come with solutions to be able to recalibrate if and when needed. Both pens have their own cases as well which help keep them safe and are nice cases. The TDS meter has a nice leather case and the PH meter came in a hard plastic case. So far have lasted longer and worked better than previous pen meters I have purchased on Amazon before.

TDS meter seems to work well. PH meter goes out of wack very fast. Every time I use it I re calibrate it to make sure it’s accurate. I would not recommend the ph meter. I don’t trust it considering it was so far off after sitting for a week. I wrote this review and was contacted by Vivosun immediately they offered to send me another ph meter no questions asked. Now that’s a company that appreciates its customers. I hope this one works better then the last. They also said they are sending me a better set of instructions.

Tested against other know accurate devices and was proven accurate after calibration. Comes with buffer solutions for calibration. All around great products so far in a marketplace full of seemingly garbage devices unless you want to spend $130 on a bluelab

Seems to be working when comparing to my standard old dropper test and since I’m partially color blind way easier to use.

If you need to know your pH or ppm get these, I looked at several online before I chose this set. So far they have worked well.
