Sturdy and high quality

Good weight to it. So far it’s very durable and appears to be made of quality material. It’s a preference thing but as a beginner I wish I had gone with one that had a flat side.

Good product

I like to make hand stitched leather bags as a hobby and have tried a number of different types of mallets for punching stitching holes. I find this small nylon mallet to be the best for me so far. It’s put together properly with no loose parts; the wooden handle is polished and smooth to touch; the nylon head is light enough so that my wrist is not tired after punching many leather pieces all at once (I have very small wrists), but at the same time, the nylon head has enough weight so that the stitching chisel goes right through the leather easily. I’m very happy with this product.

Solid weight

Very solidly-built - I use this to open the sprue-plates on my bullet-molds, and it's much better than some over-priced piece of wood.
