Sturdy and stable. The perfect tripod for my Vortex spotting scope. Nothing wiggles loose, all the fittings get tight and rock-solid using the tension knobs. Rubber pads are non-slip. Excellent value for $30.

Wanted a tabletop tripod to hold medium size (350g) camera for digital copies of Wife's art work. Prime criteria were no jiggling, and adjustable height. This tripod does not have a detatchable camera plate, nor latch to flip camera from landscape to portrait position - notorious jiggle points. It is well made for the price - hopefully the plastic and metal parts are long lasting - and thee is no slop or jiggle. Just what I was looking for. Should hold steady with a moderately heavy spotting scope.

Solid small tripod. I got this for a camera on a table to record guitar tutorials. Will also be using for hiking, to have a lightweight, compact tripod.

Fantastic product. Sturdy, stable, simple, and easy to adjust. If you’re a shooter this is the tripod for you. Don’t even look elsewhere, at this price point you won’t find a better tripod, probably not even at triple the price point. The base is wide and gives you a very stable footprint, it’s not likely that this thing is going to tip over even in the wind. I would recommend this tripod to anyone but especially my fellow shooters.

So far so good. It seemed that reviews for using this as a camera tripod were few and far between, so I was a little worried. But no worries, it works great for my camera. I wanted a trip that was small and compact, but still sturdy for an upcoming vacation and this fits the bill. I have a standard point and shoot with removable lenses and this attached to it with no problems. I know one person commented that a light breeze blew it over...i'm not sure what constitutes a light breeze, but I can assure you that it would take something more more substantial that that. The body is pretty beefy, and with it's low profile and very wide base when it's fully extended it would take a lot. It has a lot of adjustments so you can set up your camera any way you like. I'm very happy with this purchase..

For those looking for a table top tripod to support a spotting scope, this is a great choice. I purchased a different table top tripod, thinking it would work with a relatively heavy scope, and it was not stable enough, due to the ability to rotate the base by 90 degrees. This tripod eliminates that feature, making it much more stable. The construction is robust and it will sit on a table at the range and allow me to use my spotting scope as intended. For the shooters looking, this is a great choice.

Nice solid tripod. Works great for a big spotting scope I use it with.

I purchased this tripod for a cheap spotting scope I recently purchased (the one it came with was unusable) - this made the scope go from hard to use to very impressive. I almost bought another tripod but very glad I stuck with this one. I'm using it on a bench and it's the perfect height on the lowest setting, but being able to extend higher is a huge plus! Also, it's very sturdy - when I used it there were strong winds that knocked around other things I had on the bench, but not my scope. The legs are made of aluminum and the whole thing seems to be of great quality. I've only used once so far, but am very happy with the purchase.

Although wasn't listed in description, this tripod works great for my Gosky Monocular, this works great as the monocular has a phone attachment, so I can get much better pictures with no blur.
