Yes, aggressive chewers will definitely NOT tear this up quickly! It actually smells good, and, in accordance with its claim to freshen breath, it does. Puppy breath is anything but sweet...after playing with this, it's much, much better. It's heavy, so you need to be careful around windows, etc....but, it bounces so rolling it is great, as it jolts sideways, and gives your pup a good work out! Will buy this again, and again! First toy I've found that will outlast a pups energy....and chewing!

Longest Lasting $8 Toy I've Ever Used

My heavy chewer needs Kong toys or else they're in pieces very quickly. This is one of the few toys I can give for 10+ minutes and it's still intact. I take it away after 20 minutes to extend the life. Smells great and my dog is entertained by it, so we will purchase again.

Gorilla - Destroyed my dogs bad breath!

This gorilla toy has been great for our household. It has a small hole in the bottom for treats which I had to cut a couple of the tabs off. It was too hard to get treats out. The dogs love it (I have 2 small breed dogs) and I love that their breath is pleasant after chewing on this toy for a few minutes. I was afraid that this was going to be too big for them to lug around, but it hasn't stopped them. I would like it if there was a smaller one available for different breed dogs. I would highly recommend the Gorilla product.

Durable toy, perfect with some modifications

My dogs couldn't get the kibble out, but thankfully the hole has prongs that can be trimmed. I snipped a few to make the dog food flow easier. Now, when they throw this sturdy gorilla around, it works like a charm. They really abuse this thing, and so far it hasn't got a scratch. 5 stars for a fun toy!

Great treat puzzle for your pup

I bought this for my 6 year old Lab Shiba Inu mix. At first he was intrigued and played for hours. It does a great job keeping him busy and his teeth and gums seem fresh and clean after only a few hours. The down side is treats are very hard to get out especially the ones that have to be forced in through the treat opening. Once and a while you have to put small treats in there so they fall out when pup is playing so you dog is rewarded. I could see some dogs becoming board. The toy has a pleasant odor and appears to be indestructible. Only time will tell

Chewy gorilla

My GSD puppy enjoys his little gorilla, I'd say he's an average/ to aggressive chewer, he can no longer have soft toys due to him trying to eat them. So we're pretty cautious on what toys we get him. For $7.99 I'm not expecting it to last forever but it's holding up well so far. All that matters is he gets some fun out of it.. He especially likes it if you put alittle peanut butter in the treads and put it in the fridge for alittle bit, great for teething puppies. For everyone complaining about their dog tearing up this toy sooner then expected... It's $7.99 , your not going to find a true power chewer toy for that cheap...

As Advertised

Bought this for my daughter's teething puppies to play with (and bite), but our 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridge claimed it and went to town on it off and on for a few hours. I was happy to find it still in one piece. If he destroys it in the next few days, I'll update this review. However, for now, it seems as if it can withstand a lot of pressure and biting.

2 pitbulls could not destroy this

I ordered for my Anatolian shepherd dogs but my daughters 2 pitbulls tried to tear it up too. No damage at all. They seem to love chewing on it too. Indestructible!

Great Toy

We are training a puppy to be a service dog and one of the rules with her is “no toys that smell like food”. That’s challenging for a teething puppy! This product meets the challenge. She loves gnawing on it in her kennel and it meets the rules for a toy for her. I’m really pleased with it.
