I love this product! I have tried other Upton's bbq jackfruit twice and it was awful in my opinion. I wanted it plain so I could make my own sauce. Behold what I was looking for! I have made bbq and taco shreds with it so far. It takes on the seasonings it is cooked in so well. It's soo damn good! I am glad I found it on Amazon because I can't find it anywhere in stores.
I was so happy to find plain jackfruit. The grocery stores near me only sell the flavored types. They're good but I like to use this in my own recipes. It lasts a long time too. Great product for vegans and vegetarians.
