Works great no problems.

I used this in a walnut clock I made as a Christmas gift for my daughter, works great. The second hand is a nice bonus and it comes with all the mounting stuff you need.

We purchased this Mudder Silent replacement hands and motor to replace a TICKING clock that we love.. This works GREAT.

It took a good deal of research to figure out which replacement clock movement would fit my clock, but I finally figured it out and was also lucky, because it turned out to be exactly the right size, except for the hands, which were about twice as large as I needed. That's OK, because I trimmed the hour, minute, and second hands to fit (no problem with these because they are straight pieces, with no fancy designs). I also had to be careful to make sure that this was a silent, continuous motion (no ticking sound, referred to as "jump" motion) second hand movement. See picture of my clock. The installation instructions were pretty good, but just a little confusing. Best to read everything and get the logic down before actually doing anything. Basically, you need to secure the mechanism at the back of the clock exactly how you want the hands to display on the front. Make sure you line up the mechanism on the back carefully as you tighten down the lock nut on the front and press the hour hand into position on the front. Next, using the adjuster dial on the back, very carefully point the hour hand to 12:00. Double check that you haven’t inadvertently gotten the mechanism on the back out of alignment. Next, press the minute hand into position at 12:00, making sure that the two hands remain flat, relative to the clock face, and in their own planes of movement. Finally, gently press the center of the second hand into position, so that it engages with the pin in the center of the shaft. Again, make sure that the second hand remains flat, and has a free plane of movement above the minute hand. Now, using the dial on the back of the mechanism, adjust the time. Once the correct time is set, install the AA battery (I use Eveready Ultimate Lithium because they last about 5 times longer than other batteries), negative end first, without disturbing the position of the mechanism. The clock is completely silent, the second hand moves smoothly, and the time is dead-on accurate, after several days of operation! This is a quality mechanism, and well worth the price.

Easy install with fingers and a needle nose plier. Keeps time well. longer shaft fits thru the plate that makes the base of this clock, Installed about a week ago and is keeping great time.

This clock worked very nicely to repair a shop clock that had run continuously for 45 years until the gears wore out. The smooth second hand movement looks just like the original. The only negative is that the hands are made of very thin aluminum.

Changed rating from one star to five. Had a product issue but the seller reached out to me immediately and resolved the problem. Great customer service. And the replacement clock works perfectly.

I am very satisfied with this product. It is quiet, easy to install make sure that the shaft in the center is not too long to fit your clock thickness else you have to modified by using a thicker gasket. I is using AA battery and the second hand is very smooth. I put my ear next to it and heard no ticking sound at all. The deliver was in a UPS bubble bag it may get damage due to the fragile aluminum hands. Anyway If this ticking thing is ticked out I would buy it again.

I like the continuous movement, with no loud ticks. The movement is very quiet, but not totally silent - about the level of a ticking wrist watch.

Easy to assemble. All of these clocks have flimsy light hands by necessity and this is no exception. The hands are long which is great as this is a DIY wall clock for me. It does NOT have a mounting hook so I had to Jury-rigged mounting clip out of Magic-Sculpt. Smooth and QUIET alternative to the clicking sound of my previous "silent" but not smooth clock that ticked and tocked.
